i was seeking for a way of closing the helmet of the normal spacemarine modell. so the question: is it possible to create an attachment, that looks like this kind of helmet with a working 'birth' 'death' and 'stand' animation? (is not so important, most important is the helmet itself) i need this for my campaign project, and i would be verry happy if someone could create this (or something simmilar) for me. thx |

I'm not sure if you can trigger attachments to play a specific animations, and if yes, how. |

i just thought... if you use something like 'create special effekt on unit' it would show up a birth animation. so if its possible than just with create/remove special effekt... or using a spell. BUT the real problem is: i need a closed helmet-thing! (animations are neat but not necessary) |

Attach the attatchment through a dummy sphere ability and it will sync birth, death and even attack animations with the unit. |

ok... but... is there someone who could model this thing first? after having this thing we could speak about 'how to animate attachments' ![]() EDIT: Quote:

Sphere doesn't synch attacks, it just "kills" the attachment which then revives a moment later. Death and birth animations. |

mmmm well I don't got a space marine helmet well I do but its not for other people but i did make a Visor like back in the day that covered the marine face making it a enclosed helmet. So if thats what your looking for i can rig it up as a attachment |

hu? sounds not bad, but i dont really know if it is understandable, what i mean. sorry for not beeing much precise. so i added some links from starcraft ghost, showing some spacemarines which have closed their helmets. i dont need them transparent but they should fit the existing marine model from blizzard... http://www.blizzard.de/ghost/imagevi...ts.shtml?3@5,3 http://www.blizzard.de/ghost/imagevi...hots.shtml?4,4 http://www.blizzard.de/ghost/coverto...?choice=marine |

woa! ...uhm... nice. yes... something like this. is it the skin or the model, which makes that thing transparent? |

It's the model.It don't use custom texture. |
| 10-18-2006, 01:06 PM | #13 |
