Editing Spell damage

I've been trying to figure out how to use the spelleditor (Daishi's) and thanks to a few of your posts I've figured out some simple things like what files are needed in the w3m for the new spell, and how to get them there.
My question is, what do the numbers in the
"DataX (unique to spell:"
columns mean? I assume they are associated with the damage a spell does, among other things. Is there a way to tell what they mean?

If you open up abilitydata.slk using MS Excel, there will be little notes put there by the editors for most of the spells. I don't know how to help you if you don't have excel :(

just get like wiebbe's editor and it reads those comments so you can tell what those datax's do!

Ya, Wiebbe offered to help get the comments into my editor, which would be very nice of him, but it won't be done for a while so using his editor right now for finding out what stuff does is probably your best bet. =D
