How many times do I have to remind you how white background skrews up the color and that the contrast makes you to see the colors other than they are, mister?

I was speaking in general terms. You can see color values way better when you have a colored background, a dark one especialy.

Okay, well then notice that the "ooze" is acting more like smoke, and that it is coming out of his arm differently than his head.

Also, I like this piece, its different than your usual style (I think).

his skin is bland, add hilights.

Your right st33m, i don't know what i was thinking there lol :P

Afronight, if you mean those highlights you have on your skins, they are a bit unrealistic unless he's a bit oily or something. When i look at skin it doesn't have those bright white hilights, its all smoothed out.

this pic doenst have smoothed out lighting, it looks like dirt. you fail at really exploring the spectrum of lighting values. Im not saying that you should have pure white in the hilights, Im saying add more contrast, just look at your avatar and compare the lighting to your pic. I also think it'd help for you to not be so defensive with critique and avoid personal attacks against those trying to give you some good advice on a pic you posted FOR critique.

also the shiny smooth look on my skins is called style, it has nothing to do with adding additional lighting, its how i did it.
