OK, here they are, my 2 huge new skin packs: The Dune Skin Pack and the Tech Skin Pack, 30 skins in total. Included is everything i ever made for the Dune campaign, and all of the 'Tech' skins I made in Photoshop recently, including some never before seen skins! Even if you don't know Dune, or don't like it, these skins may prove useful to you. However, these skins are all copy 'n pasting work from the original Dune 1 game; You will probably like the skins i made from scratch in photoshop, all included in the Tech Skin pack, better. Since the download system is still messed up, Ganon offered to temporarily host the files for me, so much kudos to him. If you first want to see most of the skins included in the Tech Skin Pack, check this slideshow here . You can download the Tech Skin Pack here . If you first want to see most of the skins included in the Dune Skin Pack, check this slideshow here . You can download the Dune Skin Pack here. Enjoy, give credit, and please read the readme.txt's , Pencilgod PS.: You can discuss, review, rate, or flame the 2 packs in this thread . Comments are always appreciated guys! EDIT By Skull: Learn to make hyperlinks or dont post on main page. EDIT By Pencilgod: Glad you like the skin pack Skull! ://// |

My tutorial is a sticky in the Modelling, Skinning and Animating forum called 'Small Skinning Tutorial'. Here's the url: http://www.wc3campaigns.com/forums/s...?threadid=2510 As for the hex editor, you don't normally need it if you just want to replace the look of a unit. Just read my tut and Cookie's tut, and the best way to learn how to implement skins is still, to just try it. |

hmm, i still can only get the axe thrower to come into play. The file pathnames in the readme, are they for in the editor, in the maps mpq, or both? ive been using them for both.... |
| 01-25-2003, 10:51 AM | #15 |
ONLY for in the maps mpq. The model path names (in the editor) just stay the same. |
