Where to go now?

Greetings. This is the terrian I have so far for my upcoming map. The 'Elf Fortress is 90% completed' and the others are not nearly that far. The 'Human Fortress' is what is giving me the biggest problem; I don't know what to do, I'm going to pretty much completely scrap it, sans walls and entrance. What should it look like.

The humans are a very technological race and their fortress should resemble that. I'm a very poor artist and I have no idea where to start. >.<

Those tiles look really awkward on the snow. Use shift left and shift right on the modify tileset option to make the snow overlap (shift the snow right until it reaches the end of the line.

Where should I go with the human fortress now?

In my opinion you need to see some Sci-fi movies to get some inspirations. Starship Troopers wouldn't be too bad. The fortress they defend could be what you're looking for

I love it, but it just needs some custom doodads to make it more personal. And fix up the mountains following the path up to the castle.
