I need help for my DIABLO Project

Hi friends, i am working with my DIABLO MAXIMUM IMPACT V2.0 and i met a lot of difficulties, so i hope someone here can help me to fix them !!!

---- * Here are the list of problems i met [i use Warcraft III v1.07]

---- 1/I used the largest size available for my map and so i had really many things to bother
First, my map is too large so i do not have enough doodads for it,i also can not lay all the mobs on the map for it will be very laggg. To fix this, i had to use an unconvenient solution [use trigger to lay every 3units group on all about 300 regions ]
Kereen Movsesyan adviced me to learn game cache, is that can fix this, anyway, i have never touch "game cache" so i want someone to help.


--- -2/The Diablo has a large sum of ablility but Warcraft just accept 6 abilities for each hero so i want to make spell books so that the hero can learn whatever spell each time he use it that i defined for each class. I try [give ability/learn ability action but it did not work]----> i want you to help me this.

--- -3/I want my hero have individual INVENTORIES for free items and the items that he is carrying, is there any way to do this??

---4/I want to add item combination ability, so when i lay an item on another one, they will combine to become a better item, please help.

---5/I want to make town portal scroll that is actually closed to what it is in DIABLO [i can return to the former site through them]----> I want a solution for this.


---- 6/Make it so you can carry one helm, one weapon, one shield, etc

--- 7/I want to use the fog effect for my map but i cant do it
I also need some new more models and skins like PALADIN, BARBARIAN, MONSTER,...someone plz help, wc3sear.ch does not have enough models suit my demand.

....And maybe much more questions that i will ask you later, i think you all here are kind and ready to help me, right

Just want to say that you'll have a much easier time if you use TFT v 1.20e (most recent version).
There are plenty of JASS systems for what you'd like to accomplish, such as the inventory right here on the site.

I don't think thats possible. If so, It would probably have to do with chekcing to see if there is an item in the spot another item is being moved to, then compare the two, and if they match the recipe, you get an item.

Theres a system that does both (I think, I know theres a system or 2 that does one or the other.)

This MAY be because your usinf 1.07. Or its because the trigger action doesn't work for that. I tihnk its the second one. You need to set what abilities are in each spell book via object editor.

It will add sooo much time to the load screen if you spawn creeps via triggers.

You're most likely not going to find someone that will make a random person models.

Edit: Is it 1.07 roc or tft? You should get the current version...

For this you can set a a variable equal to the point at which you cast the spell or item.
Then if you cast the spell again it will return you to that point instead of back to the town.
You can use a switch to differentiate to whether you have used it outside of a town or not.

It is TFT 1.07.
One more question, i want to make a vault for each hero, how to do that???

Get the latest version before anything else... get WEUnlimited and other tools to enhance your mapmaking abilities

Making a vault could be done easy, by making an extra hero or maybe a peasant, replacing the model with eg. the chest, setting movement speed to 0 and (if it's not a hero) giving it the appropriate number of inventory slots. This is just a simple solution, but be sure that if you don't get WEUnlimited and the newest version of TFT, you won't be able to make good maps...

No. Please don't. All WEUnlimited does is enhance what you can do without enhancing your map making abilities. It's much better to learn and have control over what you are doing.

Just because you use WEUnlimited, doesn't mean you can't have control.. just stay away from anything you DON'T get yet, and you'll be fine... trust me, later on, he will be happy that he got it as his skills will expand exponentionaly...

Yes, if you used WEU for one thing, all the other things it adds to is just a waste of space, dont get me wrong its a good program, but for something small its not worth using the intire thing.

True, but did you guys even read the first post? It's not a small thing he is atempting to build here, and all the things he want to do, is (fairly) advanced, and should not be done it the regular Editor... it's shoddy... :)

WEHelper (w/o the plugin) runs normal WE. It just adds a better (wayyy better) parser. I suggest using WEHelper with the WEUnlimited plugin.

WEUnlimited isn't something that helps skill out. It is for those who have a good idea about what their doing, and need to go an extra step beyond the normal WE. Having WEU won't make you better at modding, it will make your mod maps better (assuming you use WEU correctly)

A: No thanks too much work and i'm busied

A: It's pretty simple create for every hero 3 Spellbooks (e.g. Sorc Fire/Ice and Lightening) + 3 Dummy units for upgrading the Spells

A: You can but there's still the 6 Slots limit (visible slots) limit, and it's really hard to make the items use different spaces.

A: You can not lay an item on another but you can detect the movement and check a combination this way, problem: you propably combine when you don't want it

A: Make a item detect the usage then create a portal (as variable) add it to a teleport trigger (you only need to add them once cause you replace an older portal) and when the unit enters it inside the town destroy it after teleport.

A: What you can not handle fog?

Btw.: Is your WE updated yet? If not then update WC3.
