Mind block, help is wanted!

Hey all!

I have a hero, Thunder Warrior. He's been pissing me off as of late, seeing as how 2 of his abilities refused to work no matter what way I worked it. So now I've hit a block, and I'm calling out to others for help.

The Thunder Warrior is a hero whose abilities are meant to hurt multiple units at once. (chain lightning, purging aura, and his 2 abilities that don't work hurt multi-units). The damage should be one time, the Fire Warrior is used for damage over time.

Ok, I call out to you all! I need an ultimate for a hero. Any ideas you can pull together are appreciated! Please, refrain from overly simple/complicated spells. I'm not too good at JASS yet.

Current Idea(s):
Phoenix Fire based ability, that damages multiple units around him automaticaly, every X seconds.

Metamorphosis idea, becomes lightning revenent.

Ok, his other 3 abilities are as follows:

Active: Lightning Storm:
Chain Lightning that hits many units, except with lightning bolt SFX. Nothing special.

Active: Luster Purge:
Purge w/ damage. Again, nothing too special.

Passive: Static Force:
% chance that a unit who attacks the hero will be purged.

============================

The ultimate can be active or passive. If you want, it can use chain lighting, but no purging. Anything Lightning/Thunder/Storm related is what works here. Thanks to anyone who helps!!

Thunder Ball - sends a slow moving sphere of lightning towards target location, after 4 seconds, it detonates and cast chain lighitning to all nearby enemy unit. The damage are depends on your chain lighting level, the explosion area are depends on your purge level, and number of bounce are depends on the purge aura level.

Why ?
- your 1st 3 skill are too original, so you need work at least on the ulti
- synergise all your pervious skill
- since it is slow moving and 4sec delay so enemy may still have a chance to run for it, avoiding this skill being imba
- you can change the skill to channeling skill if you still found that it is kinda imba (if the hero is interrupted during channeling then the effect goes off)

Hmm dunno what your map is for, here's some guesses (woozy ideas^^)
Electrize - Enemy unit targeting, stuns the target, dealing instant damage. Any unit that gets too near to an allied electrized unit gets electrized. For destroying clusters of enemy units.

Mana Conduction - Enemy unit targeting, deals damage equal to (or 2/0.5/1.5/etc times as much as) current mana it has, reducing its attack and move speed by percentage of its current mana(say, if it has 50% mana currently, you'll slow it by 50%). Damage at least x, slow at least x%. For destroying individual heroes or casters.

Good idea, but the amount of work it would take for me to get that to work would be insane, and I'd probably mess it up anyways...

Hmmm I hadn't thought about using mana as a damaging tool... I think I'll use something like this. Good idea!

not really, it just playing around with the numbers, spell like this are challange for a jasser if you really trying to learn jass, try doing it...

edit : hmmph i got something like this spell in my map, whole script is around 20+ lines, try doing it ~.~

Hmmm... Maybe, if the mana conduction spell acts bitchy to me. Your ability does seem cool, but it requires unit groups and loops, which REALLY pissed me off, because thats what killed my original 2 ideas. Mainly because I optimized it... (not using a tool, I mean making the JASS run smoother and faster, AKA. killig BJ's)

Hmm... An ultimate with synergy... And is simple...

Temptous Cloud - On/Off Auto-Cast

Creates a buff on a target that does nothing. When the Thunder Warrior uses a thunder-type spell, a thunder cloud will appear over the target's head. The cloud will block vision and amplify the amount of damage done by the Thunder Warrior's spells. Lasts for [X] seconds.

The Cloud Effect - Someone posted models of clouds. You can find it around the FX section, I think.

For the rest, you can just trigger that yourself. It should be easy.

Hmmm... I could always use the unholy frenzy buff cloud. Hmmm... I would have to go in and add to some of my triggers, but I don't think that will be too much of an issue. Sounds like a good idea, I'll see what I can do.

Oh, and I never said I wanted synergy. zen87 just gave me a synergy spell. So to anyone else with ideas, it doesn't need to synergize anything! (I still like the synergy spells)

it sounds more like forked chain lightning =.=" and lightning chain... sounds like inverse of chain lightning isnt it...

I tried something kind of like that.
It took forked lightning, then any unit who was hit by that got hit with a chain lightning. it didn't work...
