Please don't call these "artworks", mister. These are insults to the term of art as most of modern art is. I am not saying that this is modern art, but the level of skill you need to call your work art is very far away from you at this time, as it is for me and for everyone here and many others all around. Just "drawings" would have been a better term. Please consider your words in the future, ok Sir? Good.

Now, leaving the technical aspect behind (which is an aspect you will develop in time; at this point it is far from being regarded as "good", due to your lack of mastery of line and many, many others), it is obvious that you do not understand the shapes at all. Nothing is constructed, everything is hollow and it expresses nothingness. This is because you must study shapes and volumes and how they work together to form a whole, like the muscles in a body. You have no knowledge of them as far as I can see from these drawings.

I am not even going to start about proportions, which are obviously very wrong in all means.

I don't know why you did this, but all of these drawings are more leaned to the left. This shows that you probably don't look at your works from far away and that you don't spend time to analise them regulary. If you do, then you are doing it wrong. If you do see the wrongs and you are too lazy to fix them, then you are not fit to do this yet. You must develop a certain sense of observation for drawing.

Regarding your technique, what is it with all those random lines? Don't draw tons of lines, one is enough. If you can't draw a strait line from one shot, then at least make those helper lines in a certain clean order and don't emphasize them, leave them faded. And as I said, your line lacks expressivity, it has no soul. The line must be modulated, filled with accents and with passion. You have so much to learn, sir.

I don't know if you actualy wanted a review like that or if you give a damn about what I said, but I only wanted to express what I feel about this. What are you going to do next is up to you. And bare in mind that this is said by someone whose whole life is drawing, and who will do this for the rest of his life. If this is not the path you want to chose, then I don't expect you to be that passionate. Cheers.

I didnt see fanart, sorry, ANYWAY, i don't care, TDR, What do you expect from some bitch who wants to draw and then actually draws? huh? You expect me to draw like your masterful skilled super good art or what?

TDR was trying to help. What he gave is constructive Crits.
He pointed out what you did wrong and gave some advices on how to do these things better. He didn't randomly flame them. On top of that he made it clear to us all that, he's a really good/experienced artist, so he does know what he's talking about.

I'm no big poster on these boads, but I visit here to look at their concept art. Most of the people here are a big source of inspiration to me... Try looking at other peoples lines/shades/proportions etc, like TDR said...

Note: I'm so confused... Is tdr a girl? or a boy? I've alwys thought the latter.
I also tend to be confused when people are joking, so If im a complete morron right now.. Let me know ^^!

You really dont have a solid line to show, each line that is suppose to be isn't one but many, that makes your pictures looked blurred and un focused. If you represented one line as one, even if it is in a few parts, it would help to focus the eye on something.

I don't get it. WHY do you people ALWAYS have to get me wrong? I am really getting sick and tired of your attitudes! Every time I give a serious comment, you start thinking that I'm acting somehow superior to you and that I want to insult you. What's wrong with you people? I can not possibly see what was offending or flaming in my comment. And how on earth did you reach this conclusion: "You expect me to draw like your masterful skilled super good art or what?"??? God, people, for once try to actually read and understand what I say...You know what? I'll never comment again and that's it. Never ever. I have encountered this kind of attitude one too many times and I'm getting sick of it.

I'd expect that bitch to not post her works on the forums if she does't want to get comments or crits. You're bound to get comments. He pointed what you've done wrong and what you CAN improve, goddamnit. If you only want praise for your drawings show them to your parents and no one else.

You may feel offended, but the truth is never nice. You must admit you can't draw good, therefore you must learn. And you can still post your "arts" in the gallery, but then you need to use more time on your work, not just some quick concept.

The concept art forum seems so mean to outsiders now...

Anyways, its a start.

What i am truely missing in these drawings however, is a crisp thought behind them. They are just random scribbles. Wich are fine, and if you wish to show them, by all means, do so. But we have designated forums for that. The Scetch Dump or the Concept Art section, where i moved this, are both appropriate places. The gallery should be a place where you put your darling pictures, not your scribbles.
