I need some help! Map's messed up!?

I've been working on a map lately, spend long to do the terrain and just started triggering it, but now when I try to open it with the WE there just pops a box up saying:

-Level info data missing or invalid

And now I'm like WTF isnt there anything I can do!?

Is your game updated to the most recent version, and is the WE your using match to that version? (for example, if using WEU 1.20, you need your WC game to be updated to 1.20e) This happened to me when I was working with a WE that was for a different version then I had.

Are you using any custom editors? Do you have the latest patch?

If the answers are no and yes, odds are you're trying to open a protected map.

No well Im not using any custom editors and just updated wc3 recently

war3map.w3i is pretty much the first file World Editor tries to open.

Odds are that your map is pretty screwed. And there are big probabilities that it is totally corrupted.

There's an small hope that only some unimportant subfiles were corrupted.
