Doodads disappear

How to make doodad with large scaling value to not disappears when they're still in the screen but the game detect they're offscreen.Is it related to the bound radius of the model?

But when the camera bound go a bit upward the doodads disappear!

You can't do anything with that, since it's engine bug.

So i had to make plenty of smaller doodads instead of making big doodad.

It's related to scaling up doodads, if you scale the doodad up with a model editing program then you won't get this problem.

and you have to recalculate the the model extends with magos ( i think there is a tutorial by olof around)

i am not sure, i think that you dont have to scale it via model editor though...

It's not a bug. Just because you don't like a part of the engine, does not make it a bug.

If every doodad was visible despite being wholly or partially offscreen, it would intensify graphic processing.

This game is very old, live with it or move on.

Callahan, you make models... why don't you make a model of what you want using in game textures? You could probably do it with your talent, and it may even solve your problem.
