there's a campaign map where the computer player uses a nice AI. I think it was when Maiev captures Illidan and takes him to her base in a cage. u have to get the control of the cage to return Illidan to your base and save him. i used that ai several times. if u want i can find it for u. i cant remember very well but.. i think u have to send an ai order to the computer player using the ai, to order him to rush your base. edit: where did this post go?? |

Hi friends, I am working on my new project [UTIMATE ARENA]. I turn on the AI for com players by using " turn on melee AI" action. But this seem not work as i wish. The com heroes try to run to a point on the map and then stand there without fighting, they also do not buy or pick up items, just " hit and run" foolly. So plx show me a solution to fix this problem. And if you can, i want you to help me these: 1/ AI [ as i mentioned] 2/ com heroes can buy and pick up items. 3/ the vault , how to do it? Hi Leopard: Unfortunately the Artificial Intelligence is not as Intellingent as we want. For this kind of maps you have to create a custom AI system, which can be made in JASS. I suggest to check this tutorial. |

I would prefer jass (I've done my own in jass + a dummy AI). To learn how to do your own, look at wc3jass.com for blade.dk's tutorial in the 'AAA' section. I guess this is you are seraching for. |
