As you know, WC3 allows you to set minimum ranges for your units attacks but the one thing that stumps me is: does the minimum range effect attack 1 and 2 or just 1 or just 2? How would you do this? Because I plan to make a unit that uses one long range attack and one short range attack. I need help figuring this out quickly. |

Minimum range affects both attack 1 and attack 2. There is no way around this, you cannot make minimum range affect only attack 1 or 2. End of story. You'll have to go with a morph of some kind, either with or without triggers. |

Its really annoyingly limiting if you ask me. I'd love to make some units with both a long range and a short range attack. Hm! WAIT! I just got an Idea that might Work! It's possible to change attack speed Via Triggers right? Well if so couldnt you set the Ranged attack to have an extremely long cooldown while the unit is fighting something in minimum range. |

Attack-speed altering abilities affect both attacks too. Morphing is the best way to go here. |

or you can do some trigger to deal extra damage if they enemy is close enuf and damge them via trigger but i only looks nice on some instant projectile, if not... well it needs tons of work as to calculate when is the projectile reach the target bla bla bla... =| |

Sorry for the following profanity. Blizzard can fuck a llama. And a horse. WTF. This makes me MAD. GRRRRR. I can't believe that! HOLY SHIT THEY SUCK. Officially, StarCraft is 2x better then WC3. Seriously. WC3, ONE OF THE MOST ADVANCED GAMES, ??? Blizzard doesn't even have a SIMPLE trigger that says like, Kill all enemy units in this area. IT JUST HAS TO BE SO COMPLICATED. I CAN MAKE BETTER MAPS ON STARCRAFT! I stick with WC3 because of the things the StarCraft misses though :P |

Range is a problem in WE, I have no idea how to make a unit have 2000 range, it always drops back to 600 or 500. VERY annoying. |
