Posting this wip before my question about the file becomes a wip post. He is gonna be hairy which im not all that good at so suggestions and tips would be appreciated. -need suggestions on hair -ideas for armor -critiques of the face (its a bad wrap) -WEAPON... I dont like the doom weap and I dont really know how to give him a new one. Also the particles on his weap I think i know how to remove but Im not sure. -I dont wanna make hooves... wanna make feet so any suggestions on how to do it are appreciated -ideas for horns (might just do simple horns but creativity is cool) -anything else you can think of need some more work Most of these dont apply right now since its only been worked on for like 10-15 mins. |

Way to double post, and if he's going to be all hairy like then why have you etched in no hair and instead made skin looking muscle definition? |

srry for double post. I dont want him to be just one big furball. Worked on the light hair. Didnt want to overdo the hair but I am not sure I did it enough. Does it still look like skin or more like hair? |

Looks like skin still, its going to need a lot more contrast to look like hair or fur. |

Seriously I need some help on making hair. I just downright suck at it. Well I could just make it into some sort of hairless monster... |

The hair is coming along fine, keep with it. And as for suggestions, maybe instead of removing the particles for the weapon, you could just re-skin them into a more fitting theme, such as ice for an ice weapon, or shome shadowy clouds for a dark weapon. Etc. |

Well the problem with the weapon is not just I not liking the particles. Part of the hilt uses the chest as texture so you get this weird looking thing on the weapon and well it pisses me off a bit. I would rather him just be using his bare hands to smash people apart than a messed up weapon. I just dont think the entire weapon would go with the skin. |

For hair try to keep most of your strokes in the same direction so it doesn't look all jumbled. Use different shades to increase contrast, sometimes its handy to set your brush modes to multiply and screen when you use hair to make it look more realistic. |

Fooled with brush a bit. With a little cleaning up would this look good? |

That fur looks terrible. Look at some skins allready in wc3 for reference, like wolf and bear textures. You'll see that they have a much more articluate way of creating a fur texture, becouse in the small, relatively uncontratsed was you are presenting it now, It will not look like fur in-game. Tauren are also a good reference. |

Ive been looking at cheiftain as a reference. Ima keep working on fur but until then I wont be able to do much with this skin :( |
