Looks nice so far, but it's still early days to properly judge.

The legs consists of 6 polygons around. Isn't 4 the right vaule for wc3 models?

There is no recipe for making wc3 models, mister Daminon. This is just fine.

The topology looks nice so far, well done. Most newbys make tons of ngons in their meshes.

The arms look a wee too long and the shoulders, god forbid, could use some extra polygons, oh and it would be better if you allign the bottom of the feet with the ground reather then this da-vinci-esque pose, but DAYUM BWOI, that stuff is good.

Overall the body seems to be fine (then again, it might be not, depends on what is supposed to be).

Omgwtfbbqffs @ 3 sided arms. Don't even *think* to use 3 sided arms again. They will be hard to texture. They will have a shitty shading. And most importantly, they will looks fugly, even in an old game like wc3.

So then 4 sided is the way to go? And what about the legs?

I agree that they are ugly, but they're not hard at all to texture.

If using vertex modifier then 4 sided arms are easier to UV and skin.

Update:

Zoom (requires log in)

308 polys.

And by the way, it's going to be a dwarven worker unit for WotTH.

Whats the thing around the ankles?

Coming along nicely, side shot?

That will be a fur trim. And you can see further updates in the WotTH section.

See it here.
