Without putting details about it, I need some help with my map. 1. Is it possible to make a unit, like a peasant, to walk under water? 2. How?(look up) 3. How do spellbooks work and is it relly hard to do things like Island Troll Tribes? The crafting thing.... 4. How do I make learning a spell change a units class, like on Island Troll Tribes Thats all I'v run into now, if I have more questions I'll put them up. Thnx ![]() |

1. Yes. 2. Pathing settings. Amphibious/naval. 3. I don't play island troll tribes. Spellbooks have 0-11 spells inside, which can be cast from within it. 4. Unit - Replace unit on event: unit - hero learns ability. |

well maybe not like alk maybe give it Submerged... would that work for all units? |

If you add the submerge ability to a unit, it should work ok. Of course, it will only work it the unit is in deep water, so you have to change the unit movement type to amphibious. |

Submerge just plays the unit's submerge animations, if it has them. The unit itself is still on the surface of the water, it is just the model's animation that makes it appear to go below. |

Why not just use a trigger to sink the unit? give it a negative Height value. But I seem to recall unit spawn glitches occasionally putting a spawned unit underwater. I figured out how it happened a while back. If I remember how I'll tell you. |

Spellbook is an ability. Go to the ability editor, go to new ability, item abilities, then pick 'spell book', and now, voila, you have your very own spell book ability. Just put in the right details and add it to the unit. |
