~Dwarf~

C'mon, everyone likes dwarves ;) Done in Vertex Modifier(:P TDR), mapped to use the mountain king's skin. The feet are a bit skrewed up at the moment, but I'll get to fixing them. Suggestions on what weapon I could give him?

EDIT: Gave him a helmet :P

EDIT 2: Final model, just needs animations (which he prolly won't get)

I know it's a dwarf, but god dammit mister what's with that spherical body?
Weapon suggestion: bigass ax, like this one: http://www.sonsofthestorm.com/person...b.html#gallery

That's a funny fatass body. :)) Howver that body shape would be perfect for my eventual Diablo 1 magma monster.

@TDR and Daminon: I have my own concept on dwarves. Might try that axe though...
@Erwtenpeller: Heh, I did my best on mapping him, at least this one doesn't have two faces... But I'm still working on it, so I might fix some stuff... Stay tuned.

You imagine dwarfs as sphere creatures? May I ask why?

I actually imagine dwarves as fat and short... meh, I was just adding some armor on him :P

It looks like a child dwarf.

Oh. Well, fat people aren't exactly spherical. Here's some reference for you (no, really):

Nice work for only using Vertex Modify (far from as awesome as olof's VM skills though)

Two points, already said, but anyway:
- Screwed unwrap. A tip; redo it, from scratch. Practice makes perfect.
- Weird proportions, spherical body. It's not a problem that you imagine dwarves as fatter as they are in the Wc world, the problem is more that the proportions of that "fat"/spherical body is very illogical. He has no shoulders, for example, so it looks like the arms stick out from the middle of his body.

EDIT:
TDR's example above is good, check that

brr, tdr's example scared me! I fixed the unwrap, but I just want to make more stuff before posting a WIP... skrewed feet!
Added new image, I'm starting to lose interest in it...

Dude, it's even worse when you need some pics of muscular guys for a model/texture. :P

The belly is better now. And please stop deleting your posts for no reason. Except when you randomly shout that you want to get banned...

No, I deleted my post to avoid double-posting... And I don't want to get banned !

In that case you should have copied in the new post what you said in the previous post; please do that from now on, ok mister? yes. And no one's going to ban you (as long as you are a good boy) - TDR

Final pic added to first post, the model will probably remain like that...
