I have a quick question, then I will leave everyone alone. Is there a program somewhere that changes Midi files into either MP3 files or WAV files? If there is, could you please post the link to it here, cause with it my map would be a lot better. Thank you. :D |

I have searched for programs that would fill this need. So far I have encountered about 10 programs that claim that its technically impossible to make the conversion from midi to mp3, but have ways around that. After about 5 hours of nothingness I have heard that Winamp can easily be used to make the conversion. Only problem is that I dont know how to use it. This may not be the place to ask, but does anyone know how to use Winamp3 to change a music file from midi format, to mp3 or wav format. Thanks |

I haven't done it in a while, and don't really remember how, but I know that winamp easily convert mp3 to wav so i would imagine the opposite is possible. |

Winamp2 comes with a wavewriter plugn, which writes .wav files. Open the midi in winamp2, set it to the wavewriter, and hit play. Once you have a wav, its much easier to get to a mp3. |

1. get Super MP3 Recorder Pro 2. start the program and start recording 3. play the midi w/o repeating 4. after the midi stops, stop recording 5. save as mp3 6. convert the mp3 to wav 7. use Sound Recorder (included in Windows) to cut out the blank sections at the beginning and the end of the wav file (and maybe increasing the volume) 8. save the wav after editing 9. convert the wav to 16kbps mono mp3 (stereo mp3s don't work with wc3) 10. import the mp3 into your map |
