Can somebody teach me how to create a particle emitter in notepad? On a scale of 1 to 20 - 1 being a big noob - I'm probably a 2 or 3. I usually make spells with JASS and I suppose thats my expertese, but the spells never look complete because my models are always off, and particle emission is the best effect you can create;

To further add, my knowledge extends at this point to the ability to open up a .mdl in Notepad, and view all of the specs. I have no idea what any of them do or even what prog lang it is, but I'm very willing to learn.

Please read the big fat announcement on the top of this forum and spank my arse if it doesn't say "!!!!!DO NOT Post Artist Requests or MODEL EDITING ISSUES Here!!!!".

The easiest thing to do is to modify and existing particle effect model. Getting more specific than that required knowing what you want to do. Get this program ( http://magos.thejefffiles.com/War3ModelEditor/ ) for an easier way that Notepad to mess around with them if you want.

If you have 3dsmax, you can try this: http://www.wc3campaigns.net/showthre...ewpost&t=89183

I don't think he would have asked for notepad particles if he had max.
