Finally, had some time to bring another pack: buffs, which contains not less than five buffs. I was annoyed by the way the Blizzard stun buff looked ingame, so I decided to make my own version. In the preview you can also see how it behaves when the unit is moving, creating some interesting spirals, so it can serve other purposes too. The Benefic Aura buff came into my mind when thinking about the possibility of making difference between a positive aura and a negative aura. I thought that I'd rather make a special effect for positive auras rather than negative ones. Shiny, but not exaggerated, this effect looks best if attached to the chest of the unit. I also lately studied Faerie Fire buff and thought that I should give a try and make something similar. That is how Cosmic Touch came by. Scratch of course, it is a replica of the Faerie Fire with some additional elements and of course, different textures. For Elune's Blessing, since night elves did not really have a "moon" effect (except starfall of course), I thought that another one would not be a bad idea. A bit simple, yet perfect for another buff spell. And last, I noticed that rejuvenation regenerating mana was really popular around, so I thought a scratch replica for this would not be a bad idea. I also added a couple of particles to emphasize even more the mana effect. Suggestions, comments, credits... Welcome and encouraged like always. ~Daelin |

Very small pack but I love them. I can't say the stun looks particularly like a stun but it is a lot nicer than the WE one. |

Well, it was inspired from Diablo 2 stun but only vaguely as I remembered it. I no longer have D2 on my computer. Thanks for the comment. :) Oh, could some mod change the name of the thread too. I obviously cannot do that (though I changed the title of the first post) and since I added yet another buff, it would be nice to name the pack "Buff Pack" ;). ~Daelin |

Cool stuns. I too dont like the old fashion spiral thingy. But what I would really like to see one day is stars floating around the stunned units head :D |

the stun actually reminds me of the KotOR stun effect... well, more particles, the stun from the game was just a few ribbons. |

Don't worry Jet, I'll update my tutorial with such information too. Though it's not difficult at all. :) ~Daelin |

Looks nice. I like how they're all relatively simple yet very useful for their purpose. |
