screenies from my cutscene "the mansion"

Hi guys, I made a cine for the MnM contest that's now finished. But I thought my terraining surely can be improved, so I post some screenies for feedback from the pros out here.

The second one is fucking awesome...
BTW; where did u get those spider webs (white tinted)?

I think the grass is quite ok, I mean, if the scenery is dark, this needn't mean the grass must be dark 2.
~Off topic~ that sentence was really not hard to translate, even for me, and i don't speak any french, only latin and english :P

The fence in the 2nd picture is uneven.
The river rushes in the 3rd pic are too bright, they don't become darker at night so you might want to make them darker yourself.
And dead trees on green grass looks really a bit odd.

Overall great, good luck in the contest. =)

btw I just dont see that water spitting Illidian ur talking about, I see basically nothing in the first pic.

@Taur : your screen must be too dark, you're supposed to see the mansion under a dark, stormy sky

@HernanG : from such a good terrainer, this sentence is fucking good to hear - the white web was made for me by someone, the green one is ugly for using it as a doodad - if you want it, I suppose he wouldn't mind

@2-P : thanks for the critics (+ rep), for the fence it's meant to be but i believe I'll have to make it more clear
I hope too you'll make it on time, the more the merrier, and KK and you are the ones I'm expecting the most to show their work

K, now my suggestions!

-In the 2nd screen, replace those pixelated grasses with the Nasrudin Animated ones, they are animated, it gives a way better touch to ur cinematic, and simply look better.
-Again in the 2nd, WTH did u use an almost white fog with such a dark sky? ALWAYS u should try to blend the sky and the fog, it makes the landscape look more realistic. Try with a darker fog (Grey or Dark Teal) or change the sky to a Fogged Sky.
-In the last screen, change that awful funky green grass tile with the Ashenvale' mixed one (The grass mixed with brown). And use for god' sake "teh' Animated Grass" everywhere in the grass, with a tiny scale, and tinted green, as i see ur are using green grass.

but nevertheless good, only thing i would do is, as it shall be something creeps, tone everything darker, its all in all too colourfull...

Those are really nice screenshots Armelior, really look nice, however I do hope you got a good story with that, don't forget who all the judges are =P good luck with the contest.

@HernanG : thx for the tips (+rep), for the fog I don't know if I can darken it (it's a custom doodad) and for the animated grass I'll give it a try but I don't want to make custom doodad spamming

@xxmorpheusxx (what a name !) : I don't think it's too colorful except for the red color of the peasant which I had already fixed since I took these screenies

@player : well, the story is not so original, but i believe it's never been done in a war3 cutscene - you'll see
