Legends III ORPG

Solidarity
This map is a huge undertaking and hopefully we can finish this map within 8-12 months... Here's some stuff that people reading might find interesting :)

Mappers:
Solidarity - Storyline development, item and 'lore' development, terraining, triggering
corvusHaunt - JASS programming (HUGE), triggering, spells
YOU - anything you're pro at ;)

We're currently looking for anyone that is any good at JASS and spell/item development

INFO

Dynamic History
We have a huge script (5k word count) with a couple main storyline quests, and a lot of extra quests. The content level will include new races and will have its own lore (not wc3)

Content & Play Style
- Legends III is an ONline ORPG with little emphasis on hack and slash. Instead, we emphasize quest completion, lore immersion, and character development. Many levels will be awarded for completing main storyline objectives, with the max level of each hero being 50
- Agility has been changed so that it has no correlation with attack speed. All heros have a base attack cd of 3.5, which may only be improved through other items
- The heroes have their own spellsets, as well as 6 'magic lore' spellsets to choose from (Astra, Chitos, Terra, Ebon, Ivory, Kelvos, and Acro)
- The five races in Legends are totally new, and include the Avantians, Brundicans, Calaans, Shalians, and Khazalan Trolls
- Other playable characters include Avatars of Maltume (Beast of Burden), Spectres, Forcemages, and Acromastags
- Item classes in this game include: MYTHIC, HEROIC, ICONIC, & GENERIC. We're shooting for around 40 Mythic items, 90 Heroic items, 60 Iconic items, 60 Generic items, and 60 Quest (special mission-type) items. The item type-schematic is listed below:

Weapons:
Sword
Claymore
Saber**
Spellbook
Lance
Staff
Halberd
Longbow
Cudgel
Totem
Glaive
Katar**
Crossbow

**Denotes that two of the same type may be wielded by compatible heroes

Body Armor:
Robe*
Mail
Mantle*
Plating
Cloak

*Denotes wearer can equip a CLOAK in addition to first body armor

Headgear:
Knighthelm
Hat
Crown
Helmet

Footgear:
Greaves
Boots
Shoes

Armgear:
Claws
Gauntlets
Gloves

Shields:
Buckler
Aegis
Plate

Accessories:
Necklace
Bracelet
Ring
Idol

Offline Play & Expansions
(work in progress) We're thinking of releasing an offline map(s) that you can play via the save/load codes generated online. Items acquired offline may then be reloaded online again.

Endnotes
Anyway, if you wanna help, hit up corvusHaunt by MSN or PM or AIM me at SolidusSollus for AIM and ask around for my MSN since I can't remember it :P. But yeah, any suggestions, help, or if you're just curious or unsure on some parts just ask. Thanks for reading.

I suggest you check out my map (see sig) it is very similar to what you're planning to do. Considering that someone starts making an RPG every day around here, it might be a good idea to give more info to set it apart from the others + screenshots. Even a better idea would be to scrap the whole project and join an existing one that has a good chance of getting finished.
EDIT: Why is it called Legends III? Are there other maps preceding it? You should provide links to those maps then.
Sorry if I am being too critical, I am just trying to provide some suggestions before you do anything.

Using WE Game View settings are not scrennshots! In game ones are.

I'd start a little small; the project you are embarking on is massive. 8-12 month projects tend to fall apart.

Screen shot - shot of the screen. Though WE ones should be done with game view settings and from gave view camera.

Here are some screenshots from newly terrained areas:

^A party of 3 aggroing the first room of this dungeon, filled with Tidal Wurms. While the wurms themselves are not so dangerous, Arthosites live in the bowels of these wurms. There is no known cure for Arthosite poison.

One of the 3 minibosses in this dungeon, is Trithos, the Spectral Hydra. Spectral Hydras are trapped between dimensions, and this particularly aggressive one guards the key to the boss room. Elemental magic is not very effective against Hydras, as each additional head confers +15% elemental magic resistance.

^Here, an Avantine Crusader, an Ebon Praetor, and a Shalian Hunter engage the Fenrir in melee combat.

Anyway, I really need some help on this project, because working alone has me at a pace that is slower than I would like. Thanks for reading

he's kind of AWOL. I haven't seen him around on MSN in forever, so I dunno how the system development is going
