Story: After the burning legion demise and illadan fall of power a lone band of warrors still struggle in the scourned land of lordaeron. Formaly the kings royal guard, Tiberius was dispatched to aid a small city from a scourge invasion in doing so was unable to protect his beloved king. Griven with dispalief he and the remanants of the survivers, survive in the mountains at Hope Village. Why the scourge have lessen up on there efforts to destroy the remanats of the humans there has been a new rise in power a lich know as Varmoth has managed to break control from the lich King and is forming his own Warlord state. In his attempt to gain power he stolen a powerful sacred artifact from a remote village as his undead monsters eat the fleshy remains of the village he begans to channel the power. As it surges forth it opens a rift not between time or another world....But another Deminsion. In this deminsion the HAF(Humaniod Alliance Federation) propare there fleet to engage a uknown threat The proud and noble White Legion positions there ships on the far south east wing of the fleet. Before they propare to engage.A rift opens just above there planet Sucking in the White Legion fleet into the rift. As there smaller crusiers break up into thousands of pieces there medium and large manage to survive into this uknown planet apon crash landing. The find themselfs not on there planet...not on world...not on a diffrent galixy....But another universe. Here they must regroup and push foward to fight there way threw the scourge in a effort to find there way home. Vermoth taken a intrest in the White Legions Technology sends his army forth to destroy them. But Vermoth is just one of the evils that is after the White Legion. Deep underground a ancient demon awakes from his slumber.... Map Type: Custom Mod Campaign Features: A new Futuristic Race: Contol the White Legion Marines and fight waves upon waves of undead with artillary,airstrikes,even a mighty nuke! Campaign Rating System:Depending how well you perform gives you a grade at the end of the campaign New Play style: Dynasty Warriors War AI combine with squad hero tactics New Combat Experence!: Watch and ghouls jump your barracades and watch as vehicles Run and gun with full turret ability! Seperate CG Cinimatics!: No more ingame cinimatics this all about the seperate Pre-Rendered Cinimatics! And Much More! Who We Need: Texturers Modelers AI Scripters Just anybody who think they can contribute in general! Current Progress: Maps: Demo 10% Final 0% Models: Beta:100% Final: 45% Overall : About 35%! Notes: All Screenshots are from beta test so they have or likly will undergo major or minor change depending on the results. Zombie slaughter is always fun! I'm looking to join a project and yours sounds fairly interesting. What I can contribute with is terrain and writing, so if you are in need of either or both I might want to join you. I can do triggers, no JASS, but I'm honestly not interested in either since I work as a programmer and enough is enough ![]() |

where not quiet into making the maps yet mostly the models first. But for triggering wise where developing those early so we know exactly how to set are models up so when we apply them to are units so they work good, here the following systems(aka triggers) where working on. Run & Gun: I got this one mostly worked out but could use some more mathimatical refining for best performance Medic System: There will be like maybe a 25% chance depending on the situtation where your marines will die but just be immobile due to wounds there the player has a certain amount of time to get a medic to fix him and send him back to base before he dies Zombie System: As a bonus for players they have the option of recovering there dead. This gives them a better ending percentage But if they fail they could possible turn into undead themselfs and be used against the marines in later levels. COC(Chain Of Cammand) AI: Will probaly be the most complex scripting we do for this mod basicly the AI will act like a chain of cammand. For example all the units will be set up into squads usualy 4 marines+ a officer They will have there own minor AI where they use diffrent squad tactics such as falling back, charging, spreading out, and other task. If a officer should die the marines would then fall to the nearest leading officer. Tank's and other vehicles in the field will be in similar groups only they have a more freelance role and can do almost as they please. But they mostly be scripted to waypoints. The general will also have a diffrent AI this one cammanding the battle field for instance if the undead had managed to advance further on his right flank he will order more troops to that area. We plan on pulling this off similar to games like Battle Field 1942 sets there AI. Using a searies of regions that identify key points such as Defence Position, or a place where reforcments can be dropped. and other key points such as where they build outpost and such. BTW if I forgot to mention you mostly play as your 4-5 squad heros with the option of recruiting marines directly off the field. There will be no bases just huge mobile cammand post where the general and other things stay at. The battles will be similar to dota only alot more freedom(You could do obsutly nothing and lose the battle by death of your cammand post). Also here a few other triggering systems we might develope Stealth Line of site: Basicly for certain maps need stealth and it would be alot better if the undead had a more realistic line of site rather then just when you get to close to them Limited Troops: For the hard diffculty on are campaign we plan on giving the player a certain amount of troops that will be keep tracked off all threw the campaign. So if you got only 2 men left well thats what you have for that next mission lol. Where going good on are progress with the models we really need a texture guy to help speed things up even tho where managing to texture things by are selfs. so maybe in 3 weeks will start on maps. But you can obvisly develop some those systems early on. Ill PM you some stuff so you get a better idea on how the story laid out and who the charicters are. |

Looks interesting from what I've read here. I'd want to volunteer to work on the AI scripting, if you don't mind. I know I'm new and I don't have any previous work here that I can really show off, but consider this a chance for me to prove myself. ;p |

mmk well me and my friend currently working on realesing are demo by the end of this month. so there won't be any work for you yet. I also applied for a hosted project at The Hive Workshop and if that goes threw well will probaly move the work from there. |
