Christmas TD -by ragingspeedhorn & Mini-Me ![]() Last year Mini-Me and myself made "A Christmas Maze" and it seemed that people liked that so we thought that we would make a christmas map once again, this year being a TD instead The map will be a team TD for 8 players in teams of 2. There will only be 1 builder which will have aproxmately 10 or 11 towers, all somehow being related to christmas such as a raindeer tower, snowman tower and so on. The TD will not be a mazing TD! Progress so far is around 5% finnished or so since we just started Any feedback/ideas and so on is apreciated! |

At the moment it all you've said is that it is a christmas TD with 10/11 towers and 8 players in two teams. Anything else? Something special about it, etc.? |

Maybe you should add a "gift"... thing... or any more gameplay that has to do with Christmas |

Well as the map is not that far in development as of yet there isent much to tell, but more will come. The special thing itself will be that the map is focused around christmas, that's about it I guess. Your quest is to defend santas gift factory from hordes of enemys which wish to destroy it. The factory will then be sorrounded by a magical barrier of pressents which basicly is your lifes. If you have 10 lifes there will be 10 pressents, each time you lose 1 life a pressent gets destroyed and then when there is no more the hordes will destroy the factory and kill santa. The project will include a few custom models like santa, a gift and so on, the most nescesary things so that we don't have to put in a paladin as santa :P We try to stick to the theme and make it feel christmas-ish, we just lack a model for the little elf workers but that's about it. |

I'd love to help if you need something small. I can do some skins and the most basic of modeling: as in boxes or spheres with no animations :) So if you want some gift boxes or skins you could PM me and I can see if I could do it. ![]() |

We already got a gift box, but if you could reskin the high elf worker or whatever wc3 unit that looks the most like a elf into an santas helper elf unit + give it a matching hat that they usually have then that would be cool. Full credit would be given. The edit would just be to give the hat and reskin into green clothes and such so it looks the right way. |

Ok, I started by making this reindeer skin. It' only a recolor so it isn't anything special, but now you can do reindeer towers or something. It replaces the skin of the purple ashenvale stag, and also when you put it in game I think it would affect the dryad model. Here's the blp and a screenshot. EDIT: I have also included a Rudolph skin with a red nose. |

Add a santa tower which throws charcoal lol. |

Make a santa skin or unit, then put him at the factory. make him fight if the units break through the presents. I suggest making it so that like every 5-10 levels a new present is added. And make sometihng having to do with gifts for a job well done. Gold maybe, or perhaps an item that makes a special tower. |

Skin the Temple Guardian and make him look like a Jack-in-the-box, change his missile too. |

Lol, add a reverse TD as well where you try to zerg good children onto santa's list, and the bad guys try to stop them. The more that make it in the more gold you get, and the more lives you lose the more enemies spawn next turn. Nm that doesnt make sense >< |

Thanks for the skin, the one with the red nose will probably be the one that we use. Full credit will be given :) Thanks for feedback the rest of you. |

Another skin/model you may be interested in....Mrs. Claus! This is the Female Villager model edited in the following ways: -Shorted hair -"Wider" and "Older" torso -Not as...thin as before I'm trying to be careful to describe my changes :P Skin Changes: -Dress color -Slightly older face -Grey hair -Adjusted bust line -Undershirt added Hopefully you can find this useful, and I will continue working on the elf, but I'm having a hard time with hat's UV Map at the moment. |
