MERCENARIES Hello, ladies and gentlemen! Welcome back! I'm sure you've all missed this forum. I know I did. We've cooked up some fresh characters, and I have taken the honour to bake a fresh roleplay for these character to roam in. I've decided to keep things very open, so that we have good opportunities for many character interaction. So pick up those rusty keyboards, dive into your character - lets fire off! STORY In the vast green hills of Hillsbrad, everything seems peacefull these days. Yes, offcourse, there are the local shenenigans between the horde and allience, Tarren Mill and Soutshore, but the conflict doesn't seem that fiery these days. Even the most fearless grow weary of battle. With the lowered activity of these two powerhouses, activity once again shifts to the smaller villages of the foothills. The once deserted village of Henville has been granted new life by a group of thugs lead by the rich goblin merchant Salvatore, scandrels and mercenaries who call themselfs the Scarf. The Scarf, however, only has selfish potentials with the village, turning it into one big base of operations. Nowadays, troubled folks form all over hillsbrad and beyond come seek help at the Scarf's wide array of mercenaries. The system is simple. They check into the Town Hall, drop they're demands and payment in a note and be gone. As fast as they can. LOCATIONS&CHARACTERS The Shady Oak The Shady Oak is THE Tavren in town. Every respectable mercenary wastes they're money over here. Besides being the centre of drunks, games and pleasurable company, the more serious task of handing out assignments to the mercenaries is done here The Inn is larger then any Inn you could fine elsewhere in Hillsbrad, which is no wonder seeing the number of customers. It is made out of dark wood and is covered in the shadow of a giant, ancient Oak that is planted in the front yard. The Town Hall A boring place. The Old Town Hall is really only the place where the leader of the Scarf have anything to do. This is where people hand in assignments and where the main managing is done. Also the home of important figures in Henville like "The Spear" The Trailerpark The rest of the village is mockingly called the Trailerpark. This is where most of the mercenaries live; they get a little shack for loan from the Scarf. There's a zero-tolerance policy though: You break something, you pay something. Salvatore Salvatore is the boss. The BIG boss. Actually, he is SO important that he never even visits the town in person. He's a small but very fat and rich goblin who enjoys nothing more then making money and rubbing it in into other people. The Scarf and Henville is his property. Kaj'Kukuttikaya "The Spear" Although Salvatore is the owner, The Spear is the one in charge. The Spear runs all of Henville, and his known for his ruthless reputation. A old and weary troll headhunter, he has decepitated more then any mortal could ever count. The Spear Snovvy Gravytusk A inmensly fat quilboar. He would have long been killed in such a shady place like Henville if it weren't for his exceptional abilities in the kitchen. This Quilboar is a culinar MASTERMIND. Curiously though, he never serves any pork. Very snappy and cranky, always argues with Jo'Jeqq Jo'Jeqq A old, one-headed ogre who has seen his prime days as a mercenary long ago. A kind and respectfull Inn-Keeper who is loved by everyone. And he's pretty slim for an ogre, to. FINISHING COMMENTS I hope you all like the envirorment I sketched. If you have any cool additions of suggestions, feel free to add them. Just look at this information as the beginning. =========== Involved characters: vig0r: Alyssa Vivium Dawnweaver. Murloc Lover: Fabio Horacio Dawnweaver. erwtenpeller: Loar'Enso "Lorenzo" Fea Mageweave. Plasma Dragoon: Jareck DominantMale: Richard "Richie" the Crow. Undead_Lives: Liload Ammel Note: The red dot with a H in it is Henville. |

OOC: Traditionally, the RP creator kicks off... so hey, do I have a choice? ;) -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The hearth's flames dances around, shredding the black wood to pieces. Fire was a comforting sight for those who where wary. Wary of battle, wary of fighting, but most of all, wary of argueing. The busy Tavren Alyssa was sitting in felt like it was completely abondened of life, though there was life to be seen at every corner of the eye. There's a diffrence between life and action, I suppose. The flames did not seem to emmit any heat at all. The mouths of so many different people, where not making any sounds at all. All that excisted in Alyssa's mind was that one hearth, with the peacefull flames dancing on top of the blackened wood. Alyssa sighed as she used the long iron stick to poke some of the wood. Light sparks immediatly sparked from the wood and the fire was revitalized. Action, reaction. Alyssa didn't drink any beer. Nor any other kind of alcohol. It makes the mind wander, whilst Alyssa prefers to keep it in place. She gazed down her half-empty glass of water. It was filthy...gross. Chunks of dirt and a hair where floating around in the murky water. How did she ever end up here? She looked around the tavren, looking for familiar faces. Naturally, they weren't anywhere when you needed them. No matter, she doesn't really need anyone anyway. Water seems to adjust to the circumstances. When confronted with filth, the water turns murky. Did Alyssa turn murky, after all these years of travel and combat? Did she turn murky, in the company of these...low classed-peasents? She tries to think not. But what if she was like that glass of water? Half-empty and murky? No, not possible. Alyssa Vivian Dawnweaver will always remain Alyssa Vivian Dawnweaver, no matter how many flith is attached to it. Names stay the same. She tossed the remaining water into the fire, and it immediatly vaporized. She wasn't thirsty anyway. She was drinking out of boredome. Alyssa once again scouted the area for her company. Slowly, the music and the chatting of strangers became noticable, untill it filled Alyssa's mind. She layed back into her chair, waiting. She had become murky. |

A slightly younger elf appeared from nowhere and fell down onto the seat. He was chuckling to himself as he turned to his sister. "Hey lyssi, you should see what the dwarf can do over there, he got this pipe right, and the-" "Don't call me that, Fabio. I'm not in the mood." she glared at her brother as she interrupted him. His face fell still for a second. "Ahh. You're doing that macho moody thing again aren't you? Trying to look more professional?" There was a silence. Alyssa was fixed on the fireplace once again. Fabio sighed. He was starting to feel kind of dirty. He was pretty sure some of the guys in this tavern hadn't had a bath in at least a week. He started clicking his fingers as he gazed around, sending off small sparks of flame into the ashtray. As soon as this game got boring, he tried placing obstacles infront of himself so it was more difficult to hit the ashtray. He liked this game. "Horacio, stop messing about for one second. Image is important. How do ever expect us to get any work with you about." Fabio immeadietly stopped, "No fair. you promised you wouldn't use my middle name in public" he sulked back into his chair. It was true life was slightly harder for them since they left Silvermoon. But what choice did they have? their reputation would be ruined if the public found out what had happened. Neither of the Dawnweaver children could even conjure water, or food. As far as Fabio was concerned, all the exploration just meant finding new things and new people, which was always entertaining. However, this was the dull side of it all. waiting around in this greasy old tavern. Alyssa stopping him from having fun every two seconds. There was a crash from somewhere over the other side of the bar. it looked like a bar fight was breaking out. Fabio eagerly looked up but it was over in a few seconds. The scarf made sure everything ran smoothly as possible in this town. That ogre sure ran a pretty efficient bar, albeit for the dirt. Fabio was bored once again. He needed an adventure, and fast. Not only where they more fun. Alyssa was always in a slightly better mood if they has a job. Only slightly better, mind. |

Lorenzo was just about done combing his hair, and was now perfectly arranging the last pieces of jewelry around his face and neck. He didnt care about all the filthy buggers down there, what they did was they're own choice, but he needed his personal hygene, and had the money to get it. He had hired one of the biggest rooms in the tavern, wich was slightly better and more up-kept then the cottages outside, where the majority of mercinaries where living. Including his friend Alyssa and her little brother. She never accepted it when he offered her fanancial aid. He wasnt sure why... Probubly pride. A pride of a glorious past, now in ruins. He rearranged the gems on his forehead, cast one final look in the mirror, and sighed. "It'll just have to do..." he mumbled to himself, as he left the room and went downstairs. As he made his way through the main room, some of the rougher men would whistle sometimes, or make crude remarks, followed by loud laughter and the slapping of a lot of shoulders. In a place like this, one who kept himself clean clearly wasnt appriciated. He paid no heat to it. He ordered a glass of red wine, the only relatively decent drink on the menu, and looked around the room. There in the corner, by the fireplace, where Alyssa and her little brother, Fabio. Fabio had a pouty look on his face, and was looking around reather bored. Clearly, Alyssa had put him in his place again. Just as he was about to make his way over to them, Fabio noticed Lorenzo. Immidately his face brightened and he waved enthousiastically, pointing at an empty chair next to him. "Lorenzo! Lorenzo! Over here! I saved you a seat!" Lorenzo smiled to himself, and moved over to the fireplace. Lorenzo greeted Alyssa as formly as he could, with a small bow. "Good evening, Lady Alyssa." Alyssa didnt look away from the fire, but smiled fainly for a brief decond. "Hi Lorenzo", she mumbled. As Lorenzo sat down, he continued "And good evening to you to, Fabio!" "Soooo... Lets do something!" Fabio said enthousiastically. "I dont know, i was planning on reading for a while." "You got all poofed up to come down here and read a book!?" Fabio replied in a teasing manner. Lorenzo looked away shyly. "My personal hygene is none of your business..." Lorenzo put down his glass of wine "...But i suppose we could go for a game of chess, or something." A game of chess wasnt exactly exciting to fabio, but he agreed eegerly anyway. Anything better then just sitting around being bored. "Could you go get the game from the bar, Fabio?" "Yesssssir!" fabio replied, and practically jumped up out of the chair to go for the bar. "Oh and, order yourself a nice drink, put it on my tab." Fabio said with a modest smile. "He will pay for his own drinks, if he requires one." Alyssa suddenly said in an irritated voice, looking at Fabio with that "Its not going to happen" look. "Awww... Party pooper..." Fabio sighed. As he turned around to go to the bar, and Alyssas ayes where allready fixed on the fire again, Fabio gave Lorenzo a quick wink. He'd get that drink. He'd put it on Lorenzo's tab. Thats how it usually went. Alyssa probubly knew, too. And so Lorenzo and Fabio shared a game of chess and a glass of wine, and Alyssa eventually gave up and started reading a book instead of staring into the flames. |

A loud noise was heard from the staircase that lead to the upper floor and caught the attention of some of the patrons. It sounded like something breaking, followed by traumatized female yelling: "You told me you loved me you pig!" A deep, masculine voice replied a moment later after what sounded like a bottle breaking. "Well now hun, I don't think I said exactly -" The voice was interrupted by more of the womans yelling and loud breaking sounds. "Well maybe I did luv, but what I really meant is that I loved stirring the spoon in the pot if you catch my drift? Eh? How's about a ki-" There was more crashing and the yelling turned into loud sulking. A large number of the patrons was now anixiously waiting for something to happen, staring at the door at the end of the staircase. It opened and in the doorway stood a tall man with a cigarette in his mouth donning on some armour. He shrugged and sighed: "Women." |

She gazed into his soft, gentle eyes and moaned passionatly. -Oh Barrotzio! Why has though forsaken me? -Hush my darling... all that is, is now. Me, you, and my muscles. -Oh Barro! -Oh Darling! Alyssa knew that she any book bought written by a human would be about nothing but sex...and her suspiciouns appeared to be just. Alyssa put the book down and looked at the inhabitors of the two other chairs. They where actually playing chess? oh boy, did she feel sorry for her little brother. He never was any good at games that require patience. Without the two boys noticing, she silently watched the game, hiding behind her book. Fabio looked slightly uncomfortable, wiggeling in his chair. On the other hand, Lorenzo looked fairly calm, fabulous as ever. There was no doubt in his victory in this game, she could tell from they're faces. It had been a long time since they've truely had a chance to relax. They'd had been out on a very long and tireing quest for many weeks, but the moment they returned back to relaxation felt...off. She continued scouting the room with her nimble eyes for a certain troll. The only thing that vaguely resembled the troll was that loathesome dwarf Fabio was talking about earlier. Still doing his little pipe tricks. Why did she eager for another assignment this much? They had enough money to last atleast two more months... "I'm off to train" she suddenly said in a sharp tone. Fabio and Lorenzo seemed suprise, and frankly, so was she. Fabio was about to make a witty comment but Alyssa cut him off. "No comment". Lorenzo looked slightly worried. "Alyssa, are you sure it would be wise to do that? Its already pretty late...and cold outside". "I can take care of myself, thank you" she snapped back at Lorenzo. She marched outside so fast that the two didn't have a chance to retalliate. What does that posh kid think he is anyway? Thinking he's quite the baron, spending money like waterfall. And Fabio, the little twerp, couldn't sit still for a second. That's going to cost him his life one day... Alyssa deeply breathed in the cold air of the frontyard. Lorenzo was quite right...it was pretty cold. But that didn't scare Alyssa off. She needed some traning, to calm her mind. She hurried off to her shack, to grab her weights. To train some. The sun knows she needs it. |

Alyssa didn't get a long time to think for herself. As the cool breeze gently played with her face a not so gentle object suddenly struck her behind. "How're yeh luv?" Richards dirty palm withdrew from the elf's bottom up to his cigarette as he inhaled. "Nice weather we're havi- The cigarette was sliced in two. The elf had drawn up two scimitars and stood battleready in a veteran's pose. "Draw steel cur, don't think you'll leave here alive." Richard sighed. "Alright then you feisty little bird, let's get it on." Richard swiftly drew up his falchion and just barely managed to parry Alyssas double scimitar attack. However, his mind was clearly focusing on her bossom. "You're not bad at this, nice balcony too!" Alyssa quickly recooped from her countered attacks and managed to get behind Richard very swiftly. "Perhaps this shall teach you a lesson in-" Richard kicked some dirt from the ground into Alyssa's face. "Now there lass, ye might actually hurt someone if you go that low. I was really here to hear if ye'd be interested in a-" Alyssa's eyes burned with overflowing hate. "I will slice that grin off your face" Richard sighed again. "Aw shite." |

Its not like's she really mean or anything. I mean, its just been a bad day, a really bad day. And at bad days like this, the last thing you need on your mind is some freak hitting on you. Yes, that has to be the very last think on her list. Well maybe she's a little bit mean... So well, obviously she immediatly retalliated. She quickly scooped the dirt out of her face and furiously gazed into her nemesis's face. Well, he wasn't that bad looking him self. Obviously he could use a bath or two, and some new clothes... and a good face whoopin'. Alyssa grinned mildely. "I dont think I have time to waste time on men tonight. I have a very busy agenda, you see." "Oh, I hear ye lass, I bet. Alyssa made a wierd snorting noise she usually does when she's getting pumped up, and grabbed hold of her armor. She took the chestpiece off, then the armplates, the legplates... everything. All she was wearing right now was a simple cloth pants and shirt. She knacked her neck one or two times and grinned back. She furiously leaped at the human, slashing blades like a wildebeast, with the human merely blocking the blows. "NOT" Her slash nearly hit. "INTERESTED" The human nimbly dodged and Alyssa fell with her face in the dirt. |

"Checkmate". Lorenzo had a small, but fullfilling smile on his face as he placed the last chesspiece in place. "Aww no fair!" Fabio allmost sighed. "I never saw that queen coming." "Well you should have" Lorenzo smiled. "Hey i wonder how Lyss is doing?" Fabio asked. "She seemed to be agitated when she left." "Shes always agitated, Fabio." Lorenzo sighed. Fabio laughed. "You set up another game and get another couple of glasses, and i'll go see how Alyssa is doing." As he said this, his eyes went blank, and his mind touched outwards to find Alyssas. As soon as Lorenzo found Alyssa and vision through her eyes became appearant, a big armored fist planted itself right in the middle of it. And immidately Alyssa struck back with her blades, aimed for the kill... Lorenzo returned to himself, the light returning to his eyes, right when fabio came walking back with a couple of glasses. Gentle he got up out of his seat, and rearranged his robes. "I think we should go... Check on Alyssa. Before she murders someone." Fabio frowned, but put down the glasses. "You used that steal senses trick of yours again?" Lorenzo frowed. "Well... Yes." "Oh boy are you gonna get it!" Fabio grinned. "You know Alyssa doesnt not lke it when you use that on her. "She doesnt know, and will not know. We are just going to step outside to check on that pretty bird of yours, are we not?" Lorenzo sported a playfull grin. A rare sight. Fabio nodded, and headed towards the door. "I have you now, you... pervert!" Alyssa yelled as she had just managed to throw her oponant on the floor. Just as she was about to shove her falcion right into the strangers face, he swiftly spun around, kicking Alyssas feet out from underneath her. She got up just as fast as she went down, and the two were across from eachother in battle stance once more. "I'm telling you lass, this job is just right fer ya!" The stranger said, still confident and cocky, allthough he had sme clear bruises and cuts at some places. The stranger was about to charge at Alyssa again, but as he moved forward he seemed to bump into the air. Alyssa ofcourse immidiately reconised the trick, and spun around. "You two, stay out of this!" Lorenzo stood in the door opening with blank eyes and one hand held up to uphold his spell, while Fabio walked over to his sister. "I thought you where so concerned about our reputation here sis?" fabio said in a mocking tone "Going about killing other scarfs isnt really considered an act of honour" he continued, with a big wide grin. |

At the entrance of Henville stood a figure. A dark figure that arrived from the mountains south of the location. Jareck, the Draenei Voidwalker, having not seen a single soul in one or two days traversing the mountains, was quite hungry from his traveling. He was hungry moreso than tired. As half-spirit, there was little use of rest anymore. An occasional sleep felt good but it was leisure for him moreover than need. Looking from side to side, the place was dark and deserted, people were likely going to be inside. Jareck walked further into town to look for the local hangout. He saw a somewhat large building with two people outside it. Were they fighting? Looks like it. He walked closer to the building and relized he was not covering up as much as he should have. He had seen no draenei anywhere on this planet save for outside the portal and they were quite odd themselves. Jareck wrapped his rags around himself more and put his rugged hood on to hide his face. As he stepped closer to the building, the two continued to fight and swing at each other. Jareck moved around them and tried not to be noticed but wrapped up as he was, he might have been anyway. He looked up at the sign "The Shady Oak" with the mini words "Tavern" under the lettering. Jareck had been in this world not long but had visited enough places that he learned the "Tavern" was the local hangout. After all, in cluttered places, soul stealing was not noticed by many. Jareck stepped inside. A few eyes looked to him and he tried to lose them. But inside the dark hood, his eyes still gave out the purple light from the voidwalker entity inside him. He moved over to a wooden booth near the back of the room. He sat in the corner, lurking his eyes around and holding his rags closed to make sure he wasn't revealed. Fabio noticed the whole scene, not really focused on the chess game, looking for something, anything to make his wait less boring. Fabio called out, "Hey, stranger. Are you from around here?" Jareck shook his head. Lorenzo looked at Jareck briefly and then back to Fabio. "Fabio, you shouldn't disturb people that you don't know. You shouldn't openly trust anyone you see." Then looked back to Jareck. "I'm sorry, don't be bothered by us." Jareck nodded, "It's fine." Speaking in a sort of way that sounds like the regular rough, dry "broken" speak yet smoothed out from being a spirit entity. Fabio raised an eyebrow, "Are you alright? Your voice seems odd. You want some water? I can get it for you." Jareck shook his head again and Lorenzo looked at the chess board. "It's your move," Fabio looked back down and remembered he was playing chess. He moved a random piece in a random place and Lorenzo would simply state he couldn't do that. A group of mercenaries were in a booth two down from Jareck's. They laughed, talked, and joked about certain things. Jareck looked around to make sure nobody was watching him. This was a good being to feed from, energetic, too intertwined with what was going on at his table. Jareck extended his hand towards the man a little bit and closed his eyes. A faint blue light glowed from Jareck's hand and from the back of the man. A blue spirit-like stream traveled from the man facing away to Jareck into the blue light in Jareck's hand. The faint light on his hand grew larger, brighter, generally more healthy. Jareck sighed in relief and felt his stength returning. The man laughed with his friends and took a bite out of a turkey leg but then began to choke and swallowed hard. He looked down at his plate and brought his hand to his forehead, sweating. His friend looked to him. "What's the matter? That meat too much for ya?" Then laughed. "Shut up, I don't feel so good. I suddenly feel like I got a stomach ache, heart burn, and light-headed all at the same time." Jareck leaned back against the wall looking like he just ate a filling meal. That should be enough to sustain him for a day or two. "You'll be fine, just suck it up or go rest." The man nodded and got up to walk to a back room. Jareck leaned back against the corner and decided to sit for a little bit. He had been traveling a long time and maybe he should stay in one place for a bit just to see what is was like. He got comfortable and looked around the room, being observant of his situation. |

"Get out of my way twerp." Alyssa pushed Fabio aside as she walked over to Lorenzo. Fabio looked over to the human, and looked him up at down. He was unimpressed. "Humans are gross" he muttered as he turned his head upwards and whistled loudly. A magnificent bird soared down from within the evening clouds, and flew in a circle around the group. Fabio giggled as Hawkins landed on his shoulder, and nibbled on his ear. "Hawkins my man, you missed the show, gimme some flame" Fabio held his finger into the air and touched hawkins' wing. The two of them briefly sparked a flame from eachother and then held their fist/wing in the air. "yeah, ata boy!" He shouted over to Alyssa, who was busy talking to Lorenzo. "Sis, he did it again! That's the coolest trick ever!" He stopped laughing as he noticed the human snarling at him a few feet away. "aww, Hawkins I think we made it mad. I didn't know things that could be that dirty could have feelings." Richard slowly walked over to the elf. "Listen pansy, you comment on my appearance once more, and I'll cut those pretty little ears of yours right off. Gottit?" The human turned swiftly and walked back to Alyssa and Lorenzo, exclaiming something about a job. Fabio let out a deep breath, holding his threatened ears whilst muttering to Hawkins "At least he thinks they're pretty." |

Richard was becoming irritated. "Okay, listen, I've just about had it with you pansy elves and your pansy ways. Listen, 'eres a bloomin' map with a location, ask for a bloke called "The Marshal". He's going to give you the information you need, if so happens you're interested in some nasty business for some silve-." Alyssa bluntly interrupted. "So this isn't about a date?" Richard, Fabio and Lorenzo all stared at Alyssa. Richard lit a cigarette and placed his falchion on his back. "The Marshal. Don't come if you're afraid of some dirty work." He walked off, but not before tripping Fabio into a nearby puddle of mud. "Elves." he sighed. |

"You scummy human! You filthy dog, I bet your mother had trouble giving birth to you because of all the dirt in the way, first of all Im gunna set you on fire, then im gunna get my bow and im gunna-" Fabio's mouth was covered as Lorenzo dragged him inside the building. "Fabio, I think we would all appreciate it if you didn't insult our employers." Fabio was desperatley trying to wipe the mud from his hair. "I would appreciate it if they didn't cover me in mud! Where's Hawkins?" Lorenzo pushed Fabio towards the door leading to the staircase "Get yourself cleaned up, I'll worry about Hawkins." As Fabio trounced up the stairs, Lorenzo's eyes followed him. He bit his lip as he forced himself back to Alyssa. |

Alyssa quickly grabbed hold of all of her armor pieces. Her skintone matched her haircolour quite perfectly. No wonder, she couldn't remember being this ashamed in weeks. She was convinced that human was trying to hit on her, which was a pretty flattering thought to be honoust. Nobody had been hitting on her for quite a while. She attached the rest of her armor to her body and nudged towards Lorenzo. She smiled vaguely. "Tell me Lorenzo, why did you come aid me?" "Well...you looked like you could have used some help". "Looked, Lorenzo?" "Yes". "Tell me, just how did you spot somewhere in the middle of nowhere, in the dark, whilst playing chess?" Alyssa's tone roughened. "Ehm, well, we heard some rumors about a fight going o-" "Oh yes what a very cunning excuse, Lorenzo. Tell me, did you notice it was just the two of us, with nobody around to gossip about us?" "Eh..." Lorenzo backed off a bit, clearly foreseeing what was about to come. "That's right, you filthy little freak! Stay out of my mind, keep those little perverted tricks to yourself!" Lorenzo looked helpless. "I was tryint to help!" "Well, I dont need your help. I dont need ANYBODY's help. YOU HEAR ME?" Lorenzo replied softly. "Temper...there are people watching us..." Suddenly she realized she was standing in the middle of the Tavren, shouting at one of her best friends. The red colour returned a bit as she turned to the rest of the Tavren. "Anything you like going on here?" Chuckles filled the room. Alyssa continued in whispers. "Dont ever, ever, EVER hummiliate me like that again, you hear me?" She marched towards the bar, ordering herself a nice large beer. She could use some lager right now... She looked at the enveloppe the human gave her. It had Richard's stench all over it. It wasn't that bad. She smelled worse. She slashed it open with a tiny knife that was part of a set of somebody's dinner. She streched out the dirty, aged map and searched the details while she quickly clugged down the lager. It appeared to be somewhere in the north, near Alterac mountains. It had the seal of the Syndicate stamped on it. The Syndicate was a group of thugs that ran most of the north of Hillsbrad. That's probably where that marshall guy is hanging out... Suddenly, a light sneery voice erupted from the chair next to Alyssa. "Hey prrretty lady, ye shure clogged' that one down fast! I wonder if you-" The goblin didn't have much time to finish the sentence, as Alyssa smashed his haed with a empty mug. The goblin's face landed on the bar, out cold. That felt good. |

Lorenzo was quietly walking up the stairs. Allthough it was never nice, he was used to Alyssa yelling at him. She'd probubly take him aside and quietly apolugise in the morning. He walked into his room. It wasnt a large room, but it had everything in it. A nice bed, a desk with a well-made chair and a mirror, and a secluded corner with a bath and other cleaning-accomodations, hidden from sight bya screen, in case anyone would ever barge in. Lorenzo sighed, sat down behind his desk and started taking off his jewelry. "Lorenzo is that you?" Lorenzo froze. "I hope you dont mind, but i used your bath to clean myself up!" Fabio cheerfully announced as he stepped out from behind the screens, a towel around his waste and another towel with wich he was trying to dry his hair. "Ehm.. no.. no ofcourse not!" he muttered, as Lorenzo turned around to look at the person he was speaking to. ...Who was only wearing a towel. "Did Alyssa yell at you again for using that mind-eye trick of yours again?" Lorenzo had turned around again and continued what he was doing. He nodded. "I wish she wouldnt do that. I bet shes just mad shes not good with magic herself!" Fabio continued, as he walked back behind the screen to get dressed. "Dont go feeling too sorry for yourself." "I wont." "Oh and hey, if we're still not doing anything tomorrow, we should go talk to that odd guy that was in the tavern tonight, he looked funny." "I dont know if thats a good idea Fabio." fabio stepped up from behind the screens again, wearing basic clothing, not having bothered to put in his armor again. "Allright i guess i'll be off to bed now, Alyssa is probubly wondering where i am. She always gets mad when she cant keep an eye on me..." "Yes i suppose we could all use some sleep." "...all the more reason to go sneaking off every once ion a while!" Fabio grinnded widely. Lorenzo sighed. Fabio didnt seem to notice. "Oh and lorenzo", Fabio contunied as he walked out the dore, "you can use your mind eye thingie on me anytime, you know, when i'm in trouble or something!" Fabio had a big smile on his face, as usual, as he closed the door behind him. Lorenzo leaned back into his chair, with a distant smile on his face. "That Fabio sure is an extraordinary boy..." He though to himself, before shaking his head, and continuing preparing for bed. |
