Want a drawing, help a fella out at christmas

Hello all and very nearly seasons greatings to you all!

Right, in case you weren't aware, I write stories each year and give them out with my christmas cards for my friends and family. I've got an interesting idea for this years card, but I need a piece of artwork for the front of it, and thats where you guys come in.

The story features these creatures called 'Ice-Crunchers'(the name may change), which are these little things that live up in the mountains and live soley off snow and ice. They're supposed to be cute but also mean looking, think sort of like a humanoid snow leopard, but with slightly more gremlinesque features. They're furry and walk on two legs, the ephesis is on the fact that they do look really cute, but also can be quite theatening, a bit like puss-in-boots perhaps.

Anyway, this really is just a personal favour, so if you wanna give me a really nice chrismas present, doing this for me would be great. Gimme your address and I'll even post you one of the cards.

I will be posting the story up here once it's finished.

Here's how I'd see the head of one of these creatures. Of course, it's just the head... I'll have a try at the whole body as soon as I can.
Please keep in mind that this is just a quick demo sketch, the final thing will be totally polished and refined. And quite different too, since I think this version doesn't look cute enough --and neither threatening enough.
I'll change anything, as you want.

Guys, those are both really cool, though TDR's is a little too cute and Stormrage's is a little too mean :P

Erwt has already agreed to do this for me, though I'm delighted to see that it's intrigued you both so much, I'd be interested to see what your interpretations are like and how close they are to how I imagine the little critters. Erwt's basic concept that he showed me was pretty much on the button, I'll ask him if I can post it.

I wont post that lowsy quick scetch, but i'll work on a more elaborte version tonight, with some scenery and shit. Imma win this, bitches.

Hmmm, I liked TDR's interpretation more.

erwt's is a lot cleaner and is therefore a lot easier used in a card. Challis, you have to give us some pictures of the card itself, looks to me like it'll be pretty cool :)

Right, I've finished the story, need to go back through, make sure I'm happy with it. I'll post it once I'm happy it's finished.
