I can't seem to get this to work in my map. I've copied all variables exactly, I've copied the custom script and both door & roof triggers (left out the daylight trigger). I have also extracted the models and the doodad names and then imported them. Okay.. it seems my map has everything your map does (I deleted everything from your map that I didn't import and the door still opens/closes and the roof fading works), but the door animation and roof fading doesn't work in my map. What am I doing wrong? I have kept the same names on everything.. am I missing something? Edit: I noticed in another one of your projects you mentioned a bug where the animations weren't working, but you seemed to fix it. Could I be having the same problem? What did you do to fix it? Would re-exporting and then re-importing possibly fix the animations? Edit 2: Sorry to bother you with all that. Apparently it's just my map.. NONE of my triggers are working now. >.< I can't figure out why either... |

actually i dont know much about the system myself... but i know that not the names, but the object id is responsible for detection, does that maybe help?? |

Hmm.. well not really. But thanks anyways. I've studied my map a lot and tried several things, and found out what the problem is (although not what causes it or how to fix it). Basically, only a certain number of triggers will function in my map. I believe the number is 10. After that.. the next triggers it does not recognize when I run the actual game. I'm not sure why this is. It could be Windows Vista, or some other problem. I have about 10 to 20 custom models in the map, but mostly trees and very small pieces from your framework kit. Nothing that takes up much space. There are two lines whenever the map loads that say "Could not load file: none." It says this twice. I'm not really sure what it means but I believe all the custom imported files are working properly. Also, I have found that if I put in a bunch more doodads, units, etc.. that none of the triggers will work at all. The map is actually quite small so I do not see why this should be happening. I don't think the editor should ever prevent any triggers from functioning.. Maybe there is a problem with the latest patch and vista? It's really confusing. >.< Oh and I have since been able to get your house doors and roofs to function, by moving the trigger up higher on the trigger list. Strange, yes? |

I found the problem. I had a couple integer arrays set at size 8000 or so. Deleted those and now all the triggers work fine. |
