Meh, my crappy return! Wrapped to use the eredar skin, although it still needs some fixing, maybe a custom skin.... Made with Vertex Modifier, as usual, out of pure boredom, as usual, based on another scratch model of mine, as usual... Crit as much as you want, I think you have much to crit on

Fix the normals, and the UV too.

I guess the arms isn't flatted, so the texture is over stretched. What is wrong with the normals? (Don't know much about normals.) :S

Where's the head?
And there are a few black patches on the leg and the loincloth's skull.

@olof: Someone please tell me how to "fix normals", I don't have a clue, How can I fix the UV?
@Daminon: I know as much about normals as you :P
@Relyte: Ahem, WIP stands for Work In Progress, and I can't do heads at all..:'(

this looks like that blue bigass dude with whom you fight with at the end of ROC.

There is an option in vertex modifier called "recalculate normals"
this doesn't always give the needed result, there is also an option "snap normals"

normals can also be influenced by merging vertexes

and the best way to fix normals is to rotate the vertexes, wich rotates the normals aswell.

Is normal the faceing direction of a polygon?

olofmoleman
More like the lighting of the face, from wich direction the lighting should come from.

Don't use "recalculate normals", it make more mess than anything. Use "snap normals" and then rotate the single vertices if needed.

Does normals affect extrusion direction? I think I messed with that once.

They only effect the shading of the surfaces.
