A few questions here: 1) Do we have any resident modders who do most/all of their work on Macs (Apples)? 2) Can anybody direct me to a website that might have some sort of WC3 Mac Modding forum, or a website with extra WE programs for Macs, because, quite frankly, I am at a total loss when it comes to external programs. I have a BLP <—> TGA converter, Photoshop CS2, and an MPQ opener, but that's it. 3) Do any of the main WE editing tools (WEU, WE Helper, etc) have Mac versions somewhere in the website archives? I've looked in the main sites and found naught. 4) Is this even in the right forum? I didn't know if it should go under General Development or Off-topic... |

WeWarlock probably runs anywhere. |

Hmmm. |

The answer to 2 and 3 is no. I spent 2 years searching for Warcraft III stuff for macs and those two tools were all I found. If you do find anything, let me know. On the few occasions my PC is unusable, I'd like to be able to do stuff on my mac. |

you don't need SFMpq to operate on just war3map.j |

Goddamn myself and my stupidity... I have a PC at my house but it is some crap PC that has 128 MB ram, a horrible video card, and Dialup (I get my wireless from my neighbor's unprotected network). Not to mention that WC3 isn't even installed on it. Basically, it's a piece of shit. |

Get another 128mb of ram and it should probably work fine. I was running the Warcraft (I never tried the map editor) on computer similar to that before I got my mac. And GJ leeching wireless. |

Yeah, without a library to dissect and assemble .w3x files, WeWarlock isn't very useful. CTypes however is multiplatform, so if there WERE a mac library for mpqs, WeWarlock would easily support mac. |

Yeah, and don't post in colors .... please! |

I meant it used CTypes to use SFMPQ... ...anyways Darky used to have a lot of tools for mac when sear.ch was hosted in his own mac computer. I think that there should be a tool pack for mac in sear.ch. You better look for it as quick as possible because sear.ch is gonna be wiped out from phase of earth and eaten by another site soon, it is unlikelly they would keep its tools section |

Oh, I'd guess I'd start looking then. Thanks for the suggestion. |

I've found a few useful tools from looking on wc3sear.ch and google, but I'm wondering if I can submit them to the resources section. In the rules/guidelines, Tim. says that Quote:

Is there a way to eliminate the doodad limit for maps when working on a Mac? I use a PC for working on my maps solely because there isn't a No-Limits for Mac. |
