I used CORELL to create a loading screen, then saved it as .BLP with 80% of origin quality but in game it looked too bad, some maps have very nice loading screen, why my pic is so suck?, is there any way to fix this? |

There are different methods, to achieve different qualities. I find http://www.dwarfcampaign.com/wiki/in...Loading_screen has a good list of different methods, and steps on how to implement them. |

Another thing you could possibly do, is use WEU (World Editor Unlimited), it has the World Editor Enhancer, allowing you to load up your map, and then add an image that's 1024x768, and then it'll make the loading screen with the exact same quality of the image used, no questions asked. |

I think the best way is to use the magos model editer it has its own loading screen maker that you can take any image and it will convert and size it for you. |

Many people (myself included) would rather not download, and install, a program that vastly changes WE, with no "bonus" features (unlike StarEdit's 3rd party editor). Quote:
That can work, except I believe magos uses 1 texture of 512pixels, and also requires a custom loadingscreen model. Some methods found on the link provided allow for higher-resolutions and don't require a custom model. |

WEU is only a suggestion like teh rest, not like it does anything to the normal WE (found in the Warcraft III directory) anyway. I just prefer the WE Enhancer, besides, only thing to use if you want 16 tiles ^_^ |

WEU does not change WE. Its a different program, and you don't have to use that program, you can just open up normal WE. |
