Didn't know if this should go in Off-Topic or not... What must one do to get one of those spiffy title things under one's name. For instance, Chuckle_Brother's says "Oh, for the sake of fudge". I know I am not nearly as helpful or contributory as most of the people on this site, but I was just wondering how I would go about getting one. My internet-ego wants one. |

It's your custom user title. In order to get it, you must sacrifice twelve virgins under a blue moon by candle light (NB: candles must be made of bee's wax). Alternatively, you can get the required rep amount. |

The required rep amount is 60 if I remember correctly. |

It was a big mystery to me too. Guess if I was happy one day when I checked my profile and saw that new field. ![]() |

If you win the Hero contest, I'm sure you will be able to get your custom title :) |

Mmm... like that'll ever happen. Buy hey, I can dream, can't I! Thanks for the information, 60 rep is something I'll have to aspire to sometime... |

Only 58 more to go:P Usually if you show stuff you will get some rep, for instance post a gallery image or something of the sort. Btw, my user title is the best:P |

Usually if you are an artist you will get a lot of rep, otherwise you will have to be very patient |

Which is why rep should be taken with a grain of salt. |

Be nice and be helpful and you'll get 60 in no time. Also, post a decent map and chances are at least one person will rep you. Offer to test/help with a map and you'll probably get rep too. I got 37 just from being nice and thinking (hence my rep for my tutorial). |

All of my rep comes from simply posting replies to people's questions in general discussion/triggering. I don't care for rep, but if that's what you want I would suggest helping people. There's no shortage of people that need help :P |

Honestly, the best way for farming rep is to post some form of art. Joke aside, it does seem to be the case, even though most people will rep you when you help them. |

Art? Blasphemy. I am a trigger/scripter and I will always be one. I have little to no terraining ability, and every cinematic I've ever tried has become crap. If you'd like me to demonstrate my inability to draw shit, give me a topic and I'll see what I can do. It might be good enough for the sketch dump.. Oh, and I think I'll be sacrificing the virgins instead. ![]() EDIT: Quote:
