Hello, Could someone make me the simplest of objects, just a cube? There are some specifications I'd like on this: 1.) Center the cube precisely on the origin of the model (so, for instance, if one were to line up a bunch of these cubes in the game and the rotate one of them 90*, they'd still fit together nicely). 2.) Keep the poly count low. 12 (the minimum number for a cube) should be sufficient (see point 4). 3.) Texture the cube using sections of the Cityscape Square Tiles texture: TerrainArt\Cityscape\City_SquareTiles.blp 4.) Note how the image naturally partitions into 4x4 sections. Make each face of the cube textured by the BOTTOM RIGHT section (it seems that this area of the image is filed in all of the Cityscape, and other landscape, textures, so I'll then be able to use MDXPather to modify the model for other maps). By using this section exactly (64 x 64 pixels), we'll have very nice resolution matching to the rest of my terrain and a repeating pattern all around the cube. Thanks! Capt. Picard |

It looks great! This is just what I needed--I totally redid the walls and finished them in a matter of twenty minutes. I've also got all the roofing material finished now. This should be fun once I get the map triggered. |
