I love Perseus and Medusa, just a great looking piece of art. However it is strange that the shading has various levels of blending. Some parts are particularly detailed and smooth while others appear a little rough. Still amazing though, I love the colors in your work. |

I like the storyboards. Though they dont seem to communicate exactly whats supposed to happen to me. (I dont get em :<) The colors are amazingly warm, i'm loving that. Just a short comment on the first picture, i dont get how the lighting in the foreground is so much redder then that of the background, looks kind of odd. There doesnt seem to be a reason for the lighting to act that way. The castle looks nice and smooth. |

My geuss is he ran out of time for the deadline. Ass you did that add in old school style, i guess you'll appriciate these: They are adverts for a dutch beer company. They always come in pairs, one before, and one after, and i personally think its the best fucking beer campaign ever. http://www.bavaria.nl/files_content/..._1280x1024.jpg http://www.bavaria.nl/files_content/..._1280x1024.jpg http://www.bavaria.nl/files_content/..._1280x1024.jpg http://www.bavaria.nl/files_content/..._1280x1024.jpg http://www.bavaria.nl/files_content/..._1280x1024.jpg http://www.bavaria.nl/files_content/..._1280x1024.jpg |

Hey, thanks for the input. antihero: Thanks. Time was getting tighter and tighter for the comic, as my procrastination led me to find out, so I had to do them in increasingle less amounts of time. They vary from taking 20 minutes to 90 minutes per panel. A handy link if you want to understand colors inside and out (and have several weeks to read through and absorb all the information) is to be found here. erwtenpeller: Thanks. Yeah, I'd have to explain what's going on in the storyboards for them to make more sense: it is a thirty second commercial for which I had eight storyboards. As for the lighting in the first one, I will admit that I did take liberties and wasn't necessarily going for a tru naturalistic approach. I just counted on the saturation and contrast shift from background -> foreground to communicate the depth whereas the hue was mostly me having a little fun. Thanks for the beer links: I love them. I have a book with award-winning advertisements and marketing ideas of around 500 pages and I love looking at the ideas. I have to say, I want to pick up a case myself. olofmoleman, afroknight, xlightscreen: Thanks. Yeah, the frazetta-esque one is a wip, I'll upload the final soon. |
