I've double-clicked a grenade instead of clicking & targeting a few times. What exactly does this do? It apparently throws a grenade, but I'm not sure where it went. I actually got a triple kill by accident this way. If I had to take a guess, I would guess that it throws it in the direction of the center of the map "(center of (playable map area))" since there is no target and it uses something else by default. Thanks. |

I tried it singleplayer... I'm not sure which point it is exactly, since i only ran one test on one arena, but when you double click a 'nade on bunker it throws it to a point about 1500 range southwest of team 1 spawn. No matter where I'm positioned when throwing. |

Cool bug, this is something I must try out in the different arenas :P |

It's happened to me before, not cool just a waste of a nade. |

There's not much that can be done about it, double clicking an item is standard war3 operation, for example town portal scrolls automaticaly cast themselves on nearest town hall when double clicked. We'll look into it. |

Hmm thats strange. Maybe it's targeting yourself or right where you're standing and it bounces off you or something? |

I assume we based the grenade ability on channel? I'm not sure. Maybe if we try changing the order string? |

changing the order string on channel has no effect to its options afaik. example: windwalk can be used as a pointtarget spell in channel. |

Yep but I'm quite sure some spells automaticaly cast on their own position when you click the item. If we based the grenade ability on one of those abilities, shouldn't it work? |

Just a hunch, do you use something like "TempPoint" to rid the memory leaks? Maybe double clicking it uses whatever "TempPoint" last was set to? When I double clicked it just after I revived, I threw it right on top of myself, which might suggest the last point "TempPoint" was assigned to was my revival point. |

it's the spell, has nothing 2do with triggers. but thanks for the suggestion. |

I posted this in the Bugs/Suggestions thread, but I spose its sorta the wrong place, so I'm reposting it here lol. The point where it gets thrown to when you double click is the location where your unit was when they bought that specific grenade (this is independant to each grenade type, ie. If I buy a shock grenade at location X, then move to location Y and buy a grenade, I double click each, shock will shoot towards location X and grenade will shoot towards location Y. However if I buy a grenade at location X then move to location Y and buy another grenade, then I double click them, they will both go to the first location. (Location x). Do I get a cookie? Lol. |
