Ologg

A race from the project I am working on (not wc3 related). A new race in our lineup of races. The ologg's. They are only about 7 foot when standing straight, mildly intelligent with their own language, civilization and more. They have no need for weapons or armors, where as there skin is very thick and their back, shoulders, hands and thighs are covered in stone type scales. The just beat their enemies to death. They also like meat.

This current unit is the Ologg Brute. Front line melee unit who beats people with his fists, hehe. The two other types of ologg units at the moment are the stone throwers and the savage's. Stone throwers have giant bags they drag around containing stones, and they hurl them at their enemy at great speeds. The savage's are basic brute's with iron plating to protect them even more so.

It reminds of some of the monsters from Diablo II: Lord of Destruction Act V
The Enslaved ones and the Death Maulers:



Maybe you can get come inspiration from those. Or perhaps make it more green-ish (though that would make it look too similar to an orc)

Yes they normally dont have need for armors. But their heavy tier unit has armor plating. Why would a heavy unit be the same as a base unit? hmm!

The heavy unit will just kick more ass.

Im thinking about gray and brown for this guy.

And thus will resemble what Archian said...

Im actually leanring towards a teal/grayish theme now, haha.
