while an open gate does not? I've looked through the editor fields on a gate and the Snowy Tree Wall doodad, and I can't find which field may be critical. Of course, I can always do this with line-of-sight blockers... Capt. Picard |

just use line-of-sight blockers on the doors and then just add a trigger that removes them when the door opens. I think there is a better way tho ill check on it later. |

Can you make custom pathing maps and replace the ones the gate uses? I'm sure one of the colours blocks ground and vision. EDIT: found the tutorial i remembered, http://world-editor-tutorials.thehel...t/pathmaps.php. Doesn't mention vision blocking though, so you may be out of luck. |

Yes, I'm using those and it seems to be working quite nicely. I've got over 40 doors in my fortress, and there will be other maps with doors, so I've got to be quite careful about what one can see and one cannot. Thanks for checking into this, Xlightscreen! |
