What kind of computers do people have?

Takin' a poll here.

What kind of computer do you have? And, if you download a test map (the very first little bit of Act II, making use of the large, completely-terrained map and the cinematic system), can you view the cinematic smoothly?

DL from here (note, you will be seeing the first tidbits of Act II, which I've had done for awhile, but it won't really be a spoiler):

(click on "Act II"--warning, 22MB download, and several parties who have recently contributed are as yet uncredited)

If you DL and test, thank you! Please post a reply on the performance and your computer specs. Otherwise, thanks for taking the poll!

Thanks!

AMD Athlon 64 3400+, 448 memory, 2.20 Ghz.

Runs very nicely.
P.S. This probably should've been in the Off Topic section...

I wish I had the AMD with 1gb memory...too expensive for me at the time. This one is supposed to have 512, but it displays as only having 448. I think it takes XP out of that count.

If you have an integrated video card, I'm almost sure this is the cause of the 448. You can request as a christmas gift a nvidia 7200 video card, it would make your pc a nice monster.

not only is that really costly, you can only buy certain cards/chipsets for certain computers. Each computer has a brown or a white thingy, and you have to match them (so says the Best Buy dude last year). But damn, that would be sweet. It came with an Nvida like 4300 or somethin

Sorry 'bout the Athlon categories. If you have a > 2.0 GHz Athlon, I'd consider that in the "2.8GHz Pentium or better" category.

AMD Athlon64 X2 4600+ (Dual core at 2.4Ghz). If memory serves, its two 512 Mb L2 caches, with two 32Mb L1 caches, but I don't remember right now.

2 Gig Corsair RAM for my memory.

Anyways, this is totally gonna be shuntified into OT.

Edit: Also, my video card is an ATI Radeon X1900 256Mb(not the best, but still pretty nice, and affordable and better yet, it runs nice and cool)

Also, forgot to mention, but the test is gonna take a while, large dl eats my dialup.

Intel Celeron 1.7GHz (Please don't laugh), 512MB of RAM, 128MB GeForce 4 Ti.

Intel Core Duo, 1.8GHz (each core), 1028MB of ram, 256MB x1400 Mobility Radeon.

Yup, laptop > desktop. Your poll is a little narrow and restrictive.
