uuhhm hopefully this is not your best. Ive drawn better myself but then again everyone must start somewhere.

*Edit* oh right forgot to say why well the head and chest area dont looks right and the angelic feeling dosent suit his armor. But on the flip side i could not have drawn better wings. Gj on them in my opinion they're the best part of the picture.

Yes, I drew like that once but I wasn't bragging all around about it because I knew it wasn't good, I just kept practicing privately. I don't like people like this guy, he started me with that "oh look at my 1337 skillz for a 12 year old" thing he posted, that's why I'm "flaming". And what the hell is to inform about this thing here, everything is wrong, redo the whole damn thing, go to conceptart.org and read those bloody tutorials first (I was addressing to this zealot guy).

and thats the material we need to make him better. Tell him whats wrong, and not how to fix it.

Even if the whole thing is wrong, you could at least point out a few areas at a time until he fixes them. Telling someone to scrap someone wont tell them why it needs to be fixed, only what needs to be fixed.

Now I find this not a problem of negativity (because Im fine with negativity, it is after all, the same distance from neutrality as it is from a postive comment of the same calibur), I find this a problem of productivity. Great, everything is wrong, but why is it wrong?

I drew worse than that at one time, I got a few negative comments but they were helpful in the least. This forum wasn't as much as a douche bag back then than it is now.

Seriously? Try looking at people/pictures of people and drawing them. Go find a magazine or something and draw them. Practice practice practice.

The problem with the angel right now (thats really prominent) is the fact that it really has no neck.
The head is located half a head to a head lower than it should be. The shoulders should be below the chin. Right now he looks like he's either shrugging or the sword is really, really heavy.

The pencil marks detract from the picture, you shouldn't color a pencil drawing unless the pencil drawing is extremely clean.

I'm not going to cover lighting from the sword at the moment, it may a bit too complex right now. But yeah, fix the head, and angle the body so it is facing the way the face is.
