After playing Goblin Experimentals and seeing how bad some people can make trigger systems and terrain, I decided to make my own Ice Troll Tribes-clone.

Changes:
-It's teh goblins
-It's teh animated grasses
-It's teh 9 goblin heroes, including pyromaniac and samurai.
-Buildings are made by placing materials on ground and then using construct ability on then, so you are by no way limited to 'item X in slot Y'
-Some buildings / units can be made stronger by using more of the materials, but keeping it in the same ratio
-Simply drop items in certain buildings to combine / replace in a simple and efficient manner
-Features all custom models and icons taken from Goblin Experimentals 1.3, + some more from wc3sear.ch (may that site rest in peace...) and wc3c.

Current version = http://epicwar.com/maps/10278/ (sry for not uploading it here, it takes quite long to upload anything with my connection and that was the latest version)

What I need help with:
-Balancing of heroes
-Bugs
-Suggestions, such as
-system improvements
-new items
-new units

I'll give this a try and get ya some in-depth feedback soon. Also, you have the map open (as in not locked or corrupted) so that tsters can view the code/trigger stuff, right?

Edit:

Oke, I loaded it up, here are some issues I found.

-Not sure if this is ment to be a multiplayer map or not. The Loading screen was very confusing as there was one team with 1 player slot, and a second team with the other 11 open as well.
-In the Pave Road ability, the tooltip should specify that the stone must be the only item IN the units inventory to be used to pave with.
-Possible Typo the tinker's "Thinker" ability should be spelled "Tinker"?
-Cannot Harvest Wood, making it very difficult to do... well anything.

Suggestions:
The "Contsruct" ability should be a deault ability the hero's shoudl all have upon startup. You can't always count on people being smart enough to choose the one ability they MUST have to play the game.

The shurbs and Flowers don't seem to server any purpose, though it could just be due to my lack of being able to play due to the lumber issue.




Once I am able to harvest and use lumber, I can delve more into the game as far as testing goes.

I'm having one big issue too, after downloading your latest version... How do you get skin and the other resources than Wood and stone.... Putting a guide how to get the various resources could be a good idea.

i have some kind of problem because of several things in the game
you can't find hide or how do you get iron instead of iron ore? you can't build a forge without

It seems to be interesting to me, but you should work a lot on it.

1) Sometimes i die without any good reason
2) There should be a list o bulding recipes somewhere - I found only two - S (wall) and LS (campfire)
3) You should tell players how to get lumber - a discovered it by accident (To Falitian: Just attack a tree with A)
4) There are tooooo much wolves. I was unable to construct anything anywhere else than on my spawnpoint. And they killed me easily when I was a Sapper.
5) Meat from campfire should go directly into inventory
6) I sometimes I had problems col,lecting corpses from stags. Then the goblin suddenly got crazy and started collecting them from wide radius automatically

Good map anyways, don't get scared and continue in development

I cancelled this map months ago, another over at maps'n'mods has taken over the project, I'll update this post when I see a new version out.
