The Super-Hero-Arena!

The city calls out for heroes (superheroes!), will anyone answer the call? No, they're too busy playing:

THE SUPER HERO ARENA! (name temporary)

Yeah, so this isn't a project yet in progress, but it's more of an idea and I'm trying to find people to help by joining the team which currently only consists of me and Murloc-Lover.

So, it boils down to this:

-A hero arena with a city terrain, not some square with two bases and fountains
-Twenty "hero points" you start out with.
-Purchase superpowers, gadgets, henchmen or sidekicks for the hero points, but choose wisely because you only have a limited number!
-Teamplay! Gruesome 5 on 5 action where it's best to choose roles for your group.

Hero powers include: Super strength, super regeneration, super toughness, telepathy (super too), elemental control, invisibility, flight, and many more!
Gadgets include: Net gun, super power zapper, laser pistol and many more!
Henchmen and sidekicks have yet to be decided on.

So it would pretty much be an arena where in the beginning everyone would start off with an equal amount of points to buy and customize your very own hero, then you'd duke it out in some typical city, with rooftops and stuff. Heroes would get varying looks but only for the novelty of it, and your hero would look a bit different depending on which superpowers you'd have gotten.

There would be a few levels of each superpower, about 3-5. Say you take one point in ice manipulation, you get one ability, for example, frost nova. If you take another point, that ability gets stronger and you get another ability, for example, frost armour. You get my drift. If you'd go all out frost manipulation you'd barely afford to get anything else though. You'd have to make sacrifices.

I'm through writing now, I'm tired. I'd like to see what people think.

I was actually thinking about getting Vast Graphics to do some stuff for us, but I guess that'll have to wait until later, don't want to waste your efforts on something that fails.

The idea of customizing your hero is great. I think you should make (or find) two models, a male and a female, and design model attachments, so they fit with both heroes. This will make your project very original.

Well I'd still like to help brainstorm, test, do what I can etc.

Yep, we had in mind that once you reach level 3 or so you'll get an attachment.
