Firescale Drake

Well, my first skin to be submitted here. originaly meant to be a beastmaster pet in Skinning Contest #9, to make it short, my computer got reseted, and I lost the beastmaster skin and this one, but I only redid this one.

Made With Gimp, the screeny is both an ingame screenshot and a posed pic. I also included two more screenshots so you could see the model better. Adn yes, it is freehand... I think. I just painted red over most parts and started adding details.

Constructive criticism please... and if you have a better name to suggest me, then please do so, I simply didn,t know what to call it so I thought up of this really cheesy name.

Cool but would have looked better on an actual dragon model because the head looks strange good skin btw

Too much red, the head doesn't look like a dragon (more like an snake). Most is a recolor i guess. What's about some variation of scale color?

scale color variation... I don,t know...

The head part, I really could not care less about, since I didn,t know what to name him I just gave him a drake name.

I'll try to not make it looks so red, maybe with some... actually I have no idea how.

And no this isn,t a recolor, the scales are different shaped, the wings are completly freehand. It doesn,t really look like a red couatl to me. I MIGHT do some model edits to add firey stuff or change the head shape... I MIGHT.

Try adding a bit of lightning in the scales so they won't look so plain

And I guess you will need an ingame shot

Thanks for the comments, I uploaded an "updated version... the only difference it the wings are more "equal", and I tried to put some shading into those scales. i tried.

I also put up better pics.

everything looks good but the head witch cant be fixed so instead simply change the name to something more fitting...now lets see what beast of mythology has wings and the body of a snake ?

Whoever uses the ressource can use whatever name they want, so it really doesn,t matter.

Yea, I remember wc2, it kicked so much ass. I fucking pwn3d as orcs. Anyway, ya, it duz kinda look like the wc2 demon, except they had arms and flaming swords, and they might've had legs and human-like faces. I can't recall. Someone (good) needs to make the wc2 demon. Like you Will, you should make it. This one's good.
