The courtyard stood in the middle of the castle. A smell of a beautiful morning drifted in the air. Abundant grass filled the areas where they lay. Trimmed bushes grew beside each other as they fleshed out a maze of bushes that stretched on throughout the entire courtyard. Flowers poked out from the ground, eager to eat up the sunlight. And a large fountain was placed in the middle of it all.
There's also a castle courtyard in the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, if anyone remembers it. It's when you go meet Zelda in person. |

Falitian: Looks good, but a bit too empty. I think a wall in the background would look good. More a courtyard of a mansion than of a castle. A blizzard comes up and buries everything under snow... Meh, I was just too lazy to make details.  |
