WT 48 - Castle Courtyard

The courtyard stood in the middle of the castle. A smell of a beautiful morning drifted in the air. Abundant grass filled the areas where they lay. Trimmed bushes grew beside each other as they fleshed out a maze of bushes that stretched on throughout the entire courtyard. Flowers poked out from the ground, eager to eat up the sunlight. And a large fountain was placed in the middle of it all.

There's also a castle courtyard in the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, if anyone remembers it. It's when you go meet Zelda in person.

Can it be a cathedral also?

Only if it's an actual courtyard, i.e., enclosed. In this case, only if it's surrounded by walls.

Hmm... been a while. Let's see if I can still do this terraining thing.

Also, is there a chance that the terms "Courtyard" and "Castle" can be loosely interpretted? :)

Kinda...a small courtyard imo, I think it should be bigger, it's a nice start though.

Whipped this up after making a courtyard, that looked a lot like MadseN's. So instead, I just destroyed it (literally) and the result is the Abyss Courtyard.

Real quick little terrain, only took a few hours.

@ Lord Snorky

Not bad, but it is hard for me to imagine a flowering courtyard in the venter fo what looks more like a coloseum. It might be the heavy roof which seems, to me, very unrealistic as far as physics are concerns. Mabye try messing with the Z and X axis stretching on those pillars to make them a bit wider since they have have such a think payload on top of them.

Needs more grass and a bit of elevation chaanges, nothing dramatic, but enough to show that it's not completely flat.

Well i could make the roof a bit more flat or the pillars bigger

And DungeonM, i havent started with the center, I've only made the walls so the vegetation is still to come.

Falitian: Looks good, but a bit too empty. I think a wall in the background would look good.

More a courtyard of a mansion than of a castle.
A blizzard comes up and buries everything under snow... Meh, I was just too lazy to make details.
