Spell editing problems (yes, i know there's a thread at the top, i've read it)

My specific problem deals with DashiofDeath's spell editor. Everything goes smoothly until I click "edit", at which point it gives me one of those Windows "send error report?" things, and closes the program. Quite frustrating.

Yeah, I got the same thing. I just use excel to edit my spells. If you don't have excel....sorry man.

Fortunately I have excel. Might be a pain, but oh well.

Bring the file u trying to edit into the Warcraft III folder. You must take all of the spell editing files there too.

Did you take ALL the files? The text files, and the exe, and the AbilityData.slk?

if u do that it will work.

c'mon guys. Of course we would follow all directions to the letter. It just doesn't work on my PC. No matter. What is the advantage over excel really? Is it just an interface, or more?
