Hi guys. My problem is this : the towers im using in my castle (using the default human scout tower model) keep switching from their normal form (the desired one) to the stupid looking cannon towers. If this was a unit i would know it would be the required animation thing that one would use to block out the other versions of a unit that I'd use but the doodads don't have that and im left confused ! the same thing happens with the keep/townhall/castle model please i need help !!! also for some reason the model never changes to an archer tower like it would if it was a building/unit. Please i need these towers for my castle ! only these towers fit too ! i need a response for the single player map im making...thanks. |

The problem is the requried animation tags field, unfortunately there's nothing you can do about this for Doodads. You can try using triggers to force it to play the animation you want, if that doesn't work you'll need to model edit and remove all unwanted animations so that WCIII can't recognise them. |

I had the same problem, you'll need to replace the fire bit with whatever your tower is called. Trigger: You'll need to find the field required animation as Pheonix-IV said, but find out what extra things they've added to the general Stand animation and put it in here. e.g for town hall to use upgrade, second, that will make your town hall into a keep. I hope I've been a help. |
