I'm makeing a Kingdom Hearts RPG. I'm just making a normal one right now, but I might give it up because I'm in the process of learning how to make a save/load rpg. any suggestions whether I should continue on the one I'm working on (I'm at coliseum atm) or just skip to the save/load? I also need models for it if anyone is generous enough. I also need someone to help me host it. If you want tell me what your good at with maps and ill let you work on the map with my permission. I know asking this isnt allowed but how do I protect the map? I have heard of many many noobs stealing save/load RPG's and callin them their own. So if your willing to help out ill give you creedit and everything. EDIT:~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Process: Normal Map: About 15% to 30% done Save / Load: Still learning ow to make one Players: Normal Map: About 4-8, like I said not completly finished yet Save / Load: Havent started yet Teams: Normal: There is one team so far consisting of Sora, Riku, Goofy, and Donald. Might add more. I ussually find 2 teamed RPG's not that fun but if it is what the people want I will make it that way. Save / Load: Not Started. Misc. Info: There is a battle in the coliseum when you enter a region, it is a pretty nice battle between Sephiroth and Cloud. I'm still working on what a couple people voted on in other webpage, hey wanted me to add a little warcraft into from the scenarios. I am ok with this that way it will be kinda like Final Fantasy EPIC RPG. Summary: A basic summary is that it is the first Kingdom Hearts RPG and there is one team put in it so far. I'm 15 to 30% done. I may not finish do to learning how to make a save/load and may make a KH save/load instead. For more info look in first paragraph. ~Masamune revnant |

You should have posted this in the Project Recruitment forum. Alright, what's needed right now is more information. You're assuming everyone knows Kingdom Hearts. Also, how may players? etc., etc. |

Just for reassurment, please tell me your going to have a good-sized number of trigger-enhanced abilities? I wouldn't so much as touch this map if it didn't. And by trigger-enhanced, I mean more than a bloodlust that makes a lightning bolt. (I've seen that...) Like, trigger influenced. |

I can make half decent abilities, but are there any tutorials that tell you how to make advanced ones WITHOUT Jass? |

No, because they would be pointless. Making advanced abilities in GUI is more trouble than it's worth, and to do it well requires a level of knowledge that means you may as well learn JASS, which is far more efficient and easier to do MUI and do more advanced stuff. |

Trust us. Either make advanced abilities with JASS, or endure hell. Your choice. Trying to make GOOD advanced spells in GUI is like rolling a boulder up a hill. Sure, you can do it, but why bother? |

OK, well is there a good tutorial that makes JASS seem easy to understand and teaches you how to make advanced abilities (for ex. the ones in animes wars and in anime fight-did they use JASS too?) |

Or, if you don't want to take the time in learning JASS (though I recommend it), try to recruit someone who WILL make advanced abilities for you. EDIT: Also, if you're going to learn save/load code, why don't you just add it in your current one, not begin again? |

Well, Me and a few other people are making a JASS tutorial that covers all of JASS. go check it out so far. And there are no tutorials on making advanced spells. That'd be doing the work for you. You need to think up spells, then use JASS to implement them. |

Stop right there. Don't ever mention doing something like that on this site, you will get bashed. Many do know how, but nobody is going to tell you, its a site rule/standard. Plus, its an extreme pain in the ass if the mapmaker used the right programs. Its not worth your time. |

You mean "don't ask"? |
