Darkiron buildings

As i heard from camels_hump the Darkiron faction is very dark, here are the first buildings meant to be used to train units and upgrade them, etc...

As they are very WiP still, not animated, unwrapped, or anything else, i show you the renders from max...

I like the fortress, but change the summoning circle to be more like the concept with the lava flowing out through that thingy.

Hot, I love the towers you have on all of them. I can so totally see the color scheme.

i didnt know that! but as i need only to do the forge to complete the series it wouldt be a great idea to use yours now...

I like em art wise, but the big towers dont really fit Dark Iron architecture. They have mostly square, blocky buildings with low roofs or cut into rocks and mountains. Dunno how that would work tho, being that we need them buildable, so meh. :/

I like them, especially the summoning circle. Xatoga it's called an artistic license:P

Those totally fail to look even remotely dwarvish with those bent fairytale spires. They look good, but they're not dwarvish in the slightest.

I think they could fit darkiron pretty neat. Knowing this is a thingie about three types of dwarf, you have to do some serious variation between them, and i must say i like where this style for darkiron is going. Remeber you dont have to copy wow here :)

I love the character they add to the race. Like camel said, artistic license, we're the ones making the game, we are free to interpret the architectural styles as we see fit I suppose. And I think these fit perfectly.

If the spires are actually big iron chimneys belching smoke, that'd rock.

it'll have lots of waterfalls over the place, like gargoyels, but as they would take up too many polys it'll be just a black slit in the wall where water is puring out...

i made the towers lower and broader, i think that'll fit dwarfes a bit more...

the forge has a big badass chimney on top, so i hope you'll be stisfied with that whitehorn!

Waterfalls? On a Dark Iron structure? My earlier statement was far too lenient.

I believe he meant lava pooring out of the thing in the summoning circle. I do not know of any other waterfalls. And like ewrt said...
