Any tools for Macs?

I'm having a hard time map making with certain aspects... So I would there be any tools on Macs on this site? Like, what are they and what do they do?

The only tools I have are from the now extinct Wc3sear.ch (which can be accessed by certain links for some random reason), and they are a blp-targa converter and a color finder.

Would there be any modeling or path-changer type tools for Mac?

Thanks,

Warshape was made in Java so you can run it on mac: http://oinkerwinkle.com/tools/warshape.html
If you need simple tools like a path changer then you can ask me and i'll try to make it.

A hex editor will do to change texture paths.

A simple model editing program for OSX: Blender.

Do you have Diablo MPQ Tools? It's the only .mpq program I've found so far (for macs, that is)...

I'm with you though... there are little to no WC3 tools for Mac

If you want, later I can post up MPQ2K, it's awesome, and can be used for extracting, adding, removing, deleting stuff. I would go on about what it can do, but that's a taboo subject on this forum.

Thanks everyone for your help!

*edit I don't suppose you can send attachments via PMs can you?

I have actually tried to use MPQ2K, I just found it confusing (Eek! Command lines!). I can add/remove/do other things with Diablo MPQ, so I'm set.

Why is it a "taboo subject", though? I don't see anything wrong with it.

He may mean using it for protecting/unprotecting purposes or the like. Discussion of which I believe is taboo only if you ask how to do it.

Thinking mpq editing is taboo is quite lame.

Wasn't MPQ2K just an exe for abusing Staredit for mpq editing? How does it work on mac then?

I still ask myself, why ppl buy macs?

they're only useful for film making & graphics design.

Btw, you could try out skinning. Since photoshop is in both PC & Mac. [originally made for Mac]
