Boats Don't Fly

A little project i have embarked on with Dominant-Male and Murloc Lover. Its got Flying boats. Some character scetches and a boat thingie.

Pirates?

But seriously, looks interesting so far and I'd like to see progress on this.

Supposed to be a pelican of somesorts... a Talking one.

And i promise you, no pirates. At least not amongst the main characters.

So I take it the first guy you drew is the main character? Give him some gravity defying hair.

That girl turned out nice by the way.

For the love of god, call that pelican Mr. Sackhead.

On a more serious note, nice concepts you've got there. Love the boat too. Pixie dust smoke ftw.

Just to clearefy: this aint got nothin' to do with wc3.

The mechanic girl: 10/10 (please don't change ANYTHING in her)
Jude Law: 7/10 (wtf: a sword??) I really suggest a gun, it will fit better.
The boat: too simple IMO, I will put more turbines and a better front. If you allow me, I can do some mechanical sketch, and you simplify them.

The first Jude scetches are better.

I like those first sketches a lot, they're very expressive. That's how sketching should look like. More modulated lines would have been better, but it looks pretty nice now too.

One thing, i am NOT doing gravity defying hair. Fuck that. It sucks. He needs a normal do.

What exactly was better on the first jude that this version is missing? I mean, its basically the same drawing but prettyer and more realisticly proportioned... But perhaps that is not the way to go?

And fuck yeah a sword! Becouse swords are awesome! What beats a ww2 pilot with a sword? NOTHING!
...They'll have guns too. But swords are classic.

I guess the first one was indeed a little more expressive. Maybe i'll redo it, maybe not.

Oh and moyak, you are obviously welcome to add some mechanical scetches if you wish.
Just so you know, the ship still lacks somekind of cannon, and a crane thing.

You should stick as close to a cartoony style as possible. That second drawing of "Jude" doesn't have any soul.

His overconfident expression makes me wanna grab a f*cking pelican and beat the sh*t out of his face...
