Summary
Experience a fast paced action/horror cinematic fully loaded with action, special effects, and wild camera works all timed upon eachother.

Supported by clan WCM this cinematic will take around 10, and has two additional endings.

Story
A young divine paladin "Daratal", half god and half human had a place in heaven (Star-Side).
He was able to walk in the star-side as well as earth, he was told not to walk on earth by the supreme council of high gods (A council formed to make decision for all of Star-Side).
Said was that many dark monsters crawled beneath the earth (The Underworld-side).
They are capable to appear on the earths survice to get a hold on gifted people whom possesed more than normal powers.

Nontheless the young paladin ignored star-side's orders and walked earth.
Moments later, a dark monster from The Underworld-side scented his presence and slurped him into the boundaries of hell.
When our young paladin awakened he found himself in this underworld-side......

Very good cinematic, even though the it was a bit rushed when you converted it to a cinematic for the contest. I especially liked the part where the bid bad boss wtfpwned Daratal =)

Sorry, but for a number of reasons I really cant accept this map into the archives.

For starters, you could at least have run the text trough a spellcheck or send it to someone to fix the spelling (its SURFACE!). Think of it this way, if you're watching tv and you see a movie where a person speaks REALLY bad english (not on purpose), would you enjoy watching it?

Then, there's the cameras. They're shocky. If u're not going to use a system of some sort, then just dont move cameras without fading or instant move. This just doesnt look right.
The angles are another problem. Often you just show the ground, there is nothing to see on the camera angles you chose.

From someone like you I would have expected better terrain. This... felwood seems like a couple of weird looking rocks piled up to make a convenient pathway for your character to walk. Also, there is nothing that stands out, the terrain is basically just.. green.

Special effects. Ah yes, many people tend to enjoy your special effects. What you have mostly done is grab a few models and spam them around. The effects make close to no sense at all to what's happening. A ball which is thrown hits the ground, you would expect it to roll or some sort, not show thunderclaps at like.. 5cm apart and lightningbolts.
Not all effects were bad tho. There were some good things, but nothing to make me sit at the front of my chair for.

Also, there's the flow of the cinematic. How many times do you, when walking outside, stop to talk to yourself? it looks weird if you do that, trust me. And ofcourse, like always, 1 dude casts a spell, the other one waits. It just doesnt look realistic, cant you fix that issue for once...

Furthermore, the story isnt really that good too, but you know that already. Maybe you should, instead of trying to impress with spamming effects, have a good storyline, since that CAN be really good and you arent limited to any use of warcraft there, just your brain.

I may seem a little harsh, but then again I have to be. Critisism is what makes someone better, not saying "OMFG THIS OWNZ 5/5".

Thanks for the review Inf.
Some things I wouldn't quite agree on, but I doubt I see the relevance to debate that really, and not too forget that this is the way you see my cinematic, and I respect that.
Nonetheless I am glad you took the time to review it :).

Yea, M'n'M went through a full restore, but is back running, although the maps are gone including divinity, but I can send the cinematic to you if you want, I still have it.

@Warnicro: I agree with INfraNe on some things, but others, I don't. Yes, the cameras were a bit odd, but at least it had some reason. The terrain IMO was pretty nice, although I agree about the path thing. Sorry, I totally agree with the spell check idea, you could get Player to correct it. ^^

Overall: 4/5, mainly for the awesome battle and effects. GJ!
