Here are some clips in Part 2 ![]() ![]() WARNING: Part 1 and 2 are 20-33 minutes long, and are somewhat boring. But hey, give it a try! Part 1: Won't upload, so I used a link.... :) http://resources.hiveworkshop.com/?id=375&s=maps |

Wrong place get ready for graveyard(Don't think it will happen), or moved to the ghost forum called map submissions. Also doesn't fit the submissions rules as well -Av3n |

moooooooved. EDIT: moved back. Turns out "map submissions" is a ghost forum, and i cant find any other forum that has map submissions? i'm confused. |

Yeah me too, so this is how you submit the maps....very different from other sites. I'm new here so I'm not that familiar with the rules. Any suggestions? What'd I do wrong? I see I don't have a PM yet so I'm....actually I'm confused too. EDIT: Fixed the screenies....The Fed Ex Boy...well that's part of the humor. :) BTW: Those are cinematic maps. |

Then they should be moved to the Submit a cinematic forum, however, I don't think they're of sufficient quality to get approved. |

Should now be in the right place, and can be dealt with by the correct people. |

I've been looking at the other entries that came from cine contest 2007, and those things were wicked awesone!! Maybe I should've thought twice about submitting my cinematic here? |

One thing I've found at this site is that they generally don't accept maps, saying stuff about quality. But just about the only nice map in the map submission list was the Azeroth Arcane Arena. Everything else sucked. If you want to submit here you should: 1. be good friends with admins/mods 2. spend 2 years polishing your cinematic 3. etc Anyway good luck with your next one, I really enjoyed both this one and the previous one =D |

Thats nice, way to make insult everyone who made it to the archives, which includes me -_-' BTW: The Revolution took around 3 months to make, I took a 6 month break because I called it dead then did it again. And I'm not a very good friend with any of the mods or admin, and most of these other cinematics got in because of hard work, final. JnM |

Wha...!! 3 months!! That's soo...OMG!! I don't know what to say. I dunno that much about polishing maps, I kinda submit maps whenever I think it's ready. I let my friends do the judging for my maps, and most of them love humor and fastfood, so that's why I make maps in an instant. Battle Royale 1 = made in 3 days Battle Royale 2 = made in 11 days Battle Royale 3 = made in 1 day |

@Ruler:Azeroth Arcane Arena being the ONLY good map here? I would debate you to the ground on that one - just take a look at Zurg's cinematics: Retribution and Cult of the Dammed. . .and that's just the cinematics section! Alright. . .I actually have watched this. . .so let me add my two cents worth. . . The story was rather boring, occasionally "spiced up" with "witty/funny" dialog that WASN'T witty or funny most of the time. . . The terrain was pretty basic. . .nothing horrible but nothing very interesting or "eye catching" - which is something you generally need for cinematics. I suggest adding more tile variation and maybe importing some nicer models for things like the Blizzard trees. The cameras is what got me though. It's almost entirely still shots, which last several seconds longer than the text needs to be read. On some of the text I read them five times before it switched to the next one. . . Overall it has an interesting idea - it just needs to be "polished" as others have stated before. -Deck |

Sorry creyzi, but I just cant accept this. You have to be friends with me it seems. No, but seriously. Try watching some cinematics currently in the archive. I'm not saying copy them, but work towards them to get a feeling how to make cinematics. |
