Mc !
These two models are based on WoW concepts they are for AotZ, no custom textures were used, what do you think?

WILL THE ALMIGHTY
Makes me want to play AotZ.

I'll start with Myriad, since I think that one turned out pretty darned good.
You basically maintained the same shape and structure, which is a good thing.
I like him.

Now... Scamp...
This is what he looked like before versus after.

Now note, I do not mind the loss of polies.
The model really was too detailed for WC3, however...

The facial structure NEEDS more polies.
If you keep your model as is, and just keep the old face, it would be perfect.
Because that face is practically what gives Scamp a huge amount of his personality.

The shoulders seem slightly wide and bulky as well.
Part of what makes an imp an imp for me is a completely whacked proportion scale.
Also, he needs the furry poofy thing on his tail again, I really liked that. xD
Those and the face are my only real issues with the model itself.
Otherwise, it looks pretty cool.

Also, even without a custom skin.
I think his legs/wrists/feet/groin need that fur again.
He looks naked/dull without it.

I know I may seem really critical, but just understand that I absolutely have to be in this case.
To many people, Scamp is AotZ' calling card. His model has to be absolutely perfect.
I really appreciate you doing this for me too.
Don't forget that. <3

Don't worry of that, it has it, its just not easy to note it in the shot, ok I will change the head and add fur then.

And erwt, with the satyrs texture it would look completelly furry, and also would have blue fur, which I don't think will look well

Chriz.
You work fast : ) Send me a PM with them attached to a pastebin thread, and I'll get started straight away, and Dusk, any specifics on animations for these guys? I'll be giving them dissipate like normal heroes, since the WoW ones had none.

And just for Myriad, the hip bones area seems a bit fatter and wider than the base concept, though it might just be the shot. But damn, for no custom textures those are pretty awesome, I agree with everything dusk said though.

Myriad's "stomach" area is missing because he has no flesh.
Therefore he wears greaves over a skeleton, which make the hip area seem loads wider.
It looks fine to me, though.

Also, Scamp's animations need to be PSYCHOTIC. Like, look at the original model for example.
He needs to "act" the same, even if you give him different animations.

So if you feel like giving him a crazy death animation where he spirals backwards like the WoW one, feel free to.
Scamp is as insane as you can imagine times ten.

Also, heroes for AotZ really don't need dissipate --
Though since it'll be uploaded to the site afterwards, might as well.
I can always remove it myself to save a whopping 4kb.

Looks cool. What texture does the scamp use?

Its sad though that there seems to be so little creativity present that you get two whole new models with new animation sets, and you cant even come up with nice new ones, but simply copy wow stuff... A sad day for modelling, and a big BIG waste of chriz's time.

I partly agree, the models aren't original, but any model or animation made is more experience.

Maybe but Mc! had to replace wow model by scratch model so he has not to be creative. It was the purpose of his mission wich didn't need creativity.
I think the creativity come from his way to making model wich actually look like the wow's ones without using custome textures.

You must understand, I had never had a need for new models in the first place.
They volunteered to do it because AotZ can't get approved otherwise.

I wasn't even prepared for this.
I had nothing planned or even thought out for extra animations/whatever.
Also, it's hard for me to think up more because the WoW Imp really was perfect (Literally, perfect) for Scamp.
Trying to redo it is not an easy thing for me to come up with ideas for.

You've got to realize, I don't need 50+ animations.
It needs to stand, walk, attack, cast a spell, and die.
That's virtually it.

And if you've got ideas, please try adding to the conversation instead of bringing it down.
Seriously.
